Look here. The bolt looks like 14069-31U0A and the nut 08918-3081A. I couldn't find a UK supplier that has these in stock (TORQEN doesn't have them) so you'll have buy from Japan. Use amayama if you do, I used them last week for some 350Z parts. No issues

A much simpler route is just measuring the bolt (M6, M8, M10?) and length. It's a flanged hex I can tell you that. You could probably get like 20 for a £5 on eBay

EDIT: TORQEN does have the nut in stock. Here

Thanks that's exactly what I was looking for. ^^

  2. Hi,

I was changing spark plugs, some oil got into the cylinder. I already ordered new valve covers and other stuff to swap that out. Today I add some stablizer to fuel, because it's getting really cold and I'm waiting for parts anyway + work so I prepared car for winter. After starting the car to let the stabilizer cycle through the system I got blue smoke from the engine (that's the oil that leak into cylinders) and after a minute or two, then white smoke started blowning out. Oil isn't milky, coolant did not move, still same amount. Btw car was now standing for about month, while I was away.

    Here's vid:

As far as I know the clutches in these cars tend to sit quite high, so if it's at the bottom 20% there might be an issue, or it could just do with some adjustment. I had a new clutch quite recently and the engagement point is high.

As for the sound you're hearing, is it a ticking or more like a rattle? Does it sound like this video at about 30 seconds in? -

If so it's nothing to worry about, just flywheel chatter. Look at the YouTube comments and they explain it in more depth. Since I upgraded to a lightened flywheel mine makes the same noise, its' quite possible the previous owner did the same thing when replacing the clutch? It's especially noticeable when surrounded by walls in a garage etc.

Oh my :D the noise is just spot on, same as mine. Happy to hear that! Thank you very much!

  4. Hi,

I have my Z for only 6 months now, last owner got ceramic clutch and it just feels like **** to drive. It's quite hard to push down, but that's alright. (Already ordered new Stoptech slave cylinder, but might not be the problem) Worst is finding the bite point, it's like at 20% of pedal is that okay? Also found out last month when I drove into my garage that there's ticking when car is in neutral, but once I push the clutch down it or get it into gear the sound stops. I've read it could be bad bearings any ideas?

    Thanks Alex

  5. Hello there, i've replaced spark plugs and found out that 4 out of 6 had oil on em. My valve cover gasket is leaking as well, could it be it? My friend said it might be valve stem seals going bad. I'm planing to replace all gaskets in next month diy.

The engine has 100k miles, stock no mods.

Any ideas what else could it be? How hard is it to replace stem seals and can i do it diy?

Thanks for any tips or answears.

    Alex
