  1. Hi, late 350z.

I've had the headlight off and dried it out and then tried to seal all around the edge but the condensation was back next day. I didn't go as for as baking the headlight and pulling apart but I did apply it all around the perimeter but to no avail. Any other suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks

  2. Thanks Alex. I think it probably is supposed to be there as when I peel back the rubber (on both sides) there is a hole inside (perhaps meant to be a drain hole?). It would be good to know what the norm is and why it's potentially leaking.

  3. Hi All, hopefully this is in the right place. During the recent biblical rain storms, my car has developed a leak starting at the area where roof meets top of window seal (Driver's side is worse than near side). The seal at the top of the window has a 'split' on both sides but I'm not sure if it is designed like that or is an actual split (photos attached). Could someone with a convertible do a check and report back please. I'm not sure if sealing the split area is the right thing to do. Thanks in advance.

  4. I'm trying to set up a dash cam in my 350z and when I plug the lead in, the light on the power lead comes on but the dash cam doesn't work.

I've tried it in my wife's mini and it works fine and it also worked ok on my Merc but it just seems that the socket isn't producing enough power......?

  5. Thanks for the response, Headphones 👍. I guess it will be best to remove the headlight and closely inspect seals and for cracks. Is it easy to remove? Sorry, I've driven company cars for the last 30 years so not used to 'getting my hands dirty' but I'm certainly willing and quite looking forward to having a go. Are there any guides on the forum? Anything to watch out for? Don't want to embark on a repair and end up making things 10x worse.

  6. Hi All, new 350z owner here. I have a problem with my passenger side headlamp having condensation and I'm guessing that has blown the headlight. I'm loathe to just replace the headlight as I'm assuming it will just blow again. There is a fair amount of condensation in there but on a hot day it disappears........................only to reappear the next morning.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated 🙂
