Congrats! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! I was looking for a 370Z for quite a while and was after a black one too!

I ended up with a really good condition and low mileage LeMans blue one in the end as the car was too good to miss. I travelled from Kent to Huddersfield to buy it!

I found out afterwards that it used to belong to another forum member which gave me even more confidence the car had been looked after!

Enjoy your purchase and hopefully see it at some events/shows??

Thanks! Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if this one is possible a former owner on here possibly.

It’s completely stock as well which appeals to me, as I can add a couple of my own mods down the line.

i’ve also got about 3.5 hour journey to get it but It’ll be worth it especially the trip back.

  2. After a few months searching, I’ve put a deposit down on a 2010 40th Anniversary edition in Black.

Pics to follow but really happy with what looks like a very tidy example. Well specced, FSH and 53k on the clock with 3 former keepers.

Had the Z itch for years and it’s finally good to scratch it. Hopefully it’ll hold some value as time goes on but I certainly plan to keep it very long term.

  3. I think there might be a little wiggle room in price but not a substantial amount. They seemed pretty fixed. I think they are overhyping the fact that it’s a GT edition and will potentially hold value in the future.

It’s got full service history and had 4 owners. Some tasteful mods such as rear wiper delete, Z1 cold air intake. The previous owner was actually a 65 year old solicitor apparently.

It’s not being ruled out completely but I definitely would prefer something perhaps with less owners and a stock exhaust.

  4. I went to view the car and couldn’t fault it apart from the exhaust to be honest. It was a longlife system which did sound cool but I don’t think I could live with, the cold start was so loud!

I also don’t like the GT decals. I know they are quite simple to have removed.

I know an exhaust can be changed but I don’t really want to fork out money on such an expense this early into having a 370z

It’s a shame as it’s close to where I live, all others seem so far away. I have set my heart on a black 370z now.

These are the backboxes and tips on mine and they a bit similar to that.

    Cheers for the info.

I’m waiting to get some free time to go and try view this one.

I appreciate the exhaust might not be quite the same but how does yours sound? The garage have described it as a good sounding exhaust (but they would). Just don’t want anything too obnoxious

  6. Cheers for the info on the intake. I should probably go and view the car at some point for a closer look.

With regards to the exhaust, the tailpipes have a few little dash lines on them and also the back box section looks like two separate units which made me think aftermarket?

  7.

I’m on the lookout for a nice example 370z in Black between 2012 and 2016, however they seem very rare at the moment in black for what’s out there.

There’s a Black GT edition close to me for sale. Does anybody know what brand aftermarket exhaust is on it and what brand intake pipes?

  8. Cheers, a lot of the ones for sale are quite far and there’s not many of them. I think autotrader has 30 370z’s being sold my traders right now across the country!

A Black 2012 GT edition has popped up near me which might be worth a look. Might sound stupid but can those GT Editon side decals be easily removed?

  9. First post on here. Always admired the 350/370 and finally thinking of taking the plunge on a 370z.

Currently looking at 15/16 plates. Is there anything to look out for on these model years?

I’m currently watching a white one and a midnight blue (i think that’s the name) and really can’t decide as they both suit the shape of the car.

Budget is around 17/18k. Ideally would like a manual as my last 3 cars have been autos.

Currently in a Scirocco R which I can’t fault but the 370 just feels more special.
