  1. Thanks Adrian. In my searches the other day, I actually came across a similar AUX repair query to my own from someone else where you'd kindly responded with this link in a bid to help. I still can't find the actual mention of the repair in the 4 pages of the thread though. Just had another quick look but no joy again. I shall go through it more carefully shortly.

  2. I've decided to stop worrying about this for now and make do with continuing to have a cradle mounted iPhone involved in all this. I've just bought a cradle that fits into the CD-slot and a bluetooth audio receiver that will neatly tuck away into the cubby on the centre console and connect direct into the AUX input. Next challenge is to fix the AUX input which is only playing music out of one side. A small amount of soldering required I think, once I work out how to get at the connections that is!

At the moment, I've only worked on Connect Premium cars but in the future I'm sure things will develop. You have the same problem as 09 GTR owners. They don't have AUX, USB, Bluetooth streaming etc. I'm working on something for those guys so maybe it will have an application for you too.

    Hi Andy,

+1 from me for seeking an upgrade option for the audio/visuals in the 09 370z! Bought mine a month ago and a bit gutted to have realised the limitations on the audio/nagivation/camera system. I just posted similar on the FB group and then started browsing specific traders and came across yourself on here. I'm hoping for:

    (1) to be able to search on postcode on the SatNav

    (2) to be able to browse/play music on the iPhone through the interface

    (3) a reversing camera (although I can probably live without that I think)

Almost tempted to cut my losses, sell the car and get the slightly newer model that has all of the above.

Love the car but gutted to have realised where I've ended up on this.

I shall keep a hopeful eye on R35 Audio.

    Paul

  4. Hi all.

This forum looks great so thought I'd say hello having recently picked up a 2010 370z, which, I am LOVING.

A nod to Paul from Midwest Performance Cars - a pleasure to do business with. I'm not sure about the rules on links etc (and too tired to look them up right now!) so I'll add a link to his site and see what happens. Midwest sell other cars as well, but they have quite a few 350/370s as well as the odd GTR - http://midwestperformance.co.uk

Going from my Audi A3 (which I had for about 10 years) to the beast that is the 370z is quite something. Still gently learning the capabilities of the machine!

One of the main things I'm hoping to find out from the forums is what the options are (if any) for bringing the head-unit hardware and software up to date. Won't get too bogged down into that here as this is just a hello but if anyone has any useful pointers of where to start looking that would be great!

I'll add some pics for good measure :)
