Ye very strange, it should just all work TBH, small spacer, thin strut, minimal caps nothing else different with the car (why cant things just work for once)
-
Ye i did the same, i have replace the spacers fir washers and the gap from the plenum to the strut is very small like a coupe of sheets of paper thin and the strut still touches the bonnet :/
Thx for the reply

Hi all,
I just brought and fitted this 5/16 Plenum Spacer from a member on here, the spacer is great fits very well and has all the hardware but I am having a few problems with the bonnet closing.
I have an NRG strut fitted which seems to be thinner than the OEM one, the bonnet is touching the strut which is very annoying not just because it is taking the finish of the strut and bonnet I can also feel/hear the extra vibrations in the cab. I have uploaded some photos to show.
The last photo is just showing that I have placed some washes in the bonnet hinge to release some of the tension on the strut (for now).
Any help or advice would be great so these were a group buy so I guess there must be more member using these.

I'm looking for a complete list or diagram of the size of all the bolts and nuts under the hood, looking to replace all the one you can see with shiny silver or white would be cool with nice washers

Evening all,
I brought a Weapon-R Power Steering Reservoir and eventually fitted it last weekend, once I had, my power steering started playing up (a little shaky, stiff every so often, very noisy once warm) I thought there might be some air in the system so I bled it. Took a couple of hours to make sure I got it all out until there were no bubbles (I had to do this with the engine off as with it on the fluid would shoot out of the tank unlike with the OEM tank). This did not work was just the same as before.
I then pumped the fluid out completely with an oil pump just in case air was trapped. Replaced all the fluid and filled the tank up, went lock to lock for a while to make sure and no luck still the same.
After all of theses attempts at fixing it the fluid was foamy with bubbles after a 15 min drive.
I have just changed the tank back to the OEM and was able to go lock to lock with the cap off and engine on to get any air out after the OEM change and the power steering seems fine now.
Was purely the Weapon-R tank causing the problem. I noticed that the EOM has a plastic plate just above the entrance and exit holes stopping the fluid shooting out and stopping it jumping around and making it all foamy.
Has anyone had any success with the Weapon-R tank and does yours have a plate in the bottom to stop the fluid splashing around and picking up air and getting foamy and can you take your cap off with the engine running?
Sorry for the long post but I've been pulling my hair out over this and spent nearly every night trying to fix it as i really wan the new tank in the engine bay
Thx

Parked the car with a spare space on either side. Went for an exam and some lunch. Returned 2hrs later to find the car park full apart from the spaces either side of mine. Literally the first time that's ever happened to me. Usually its a completely empty car park, I park furthest away and some tw@t still parks next to me. Anyway this is the pic when I parked:

Hi Mark,
Mind if i ask where you got your hoses from? I think I have found some in different colours in a set of 4 from http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/product.php?xProd=8074&xSec=1764 but was just wondering if there is a better place or maybe more hose option so i can replace more of the OEM hoses.
Thx in advanced
