Just a small update ( I don't really want to waste your time with a build thread for him but am too excited not to share!)

I fitted the K1 today, and boy o boy!!! I am not disappointed!

Japspeed have always been so hit and miss with the S Bodies, so I was dubious about buying from them. After the exhaust turned up three days later than promised, I was pleased with the fitment and lack of persuasion it needed to fit properly

Also whilst I was there, I found a lovely little surprise!

Anyway, in love with the sound! (No baffles as I like people to know Im arriving) so thank you for all the advice and help guys and girls it is much appreciated!

Funnily enough I heard a 350 accelerating up the a11 on Sunday, quickly snapped my neck round to see your orange behind through the tree's going towards Thetford, I was shamefully parked in McDonald's stuffing my face with a double cheeseburger 😶 sounding good though Mylee! 🤙🾠we should probably stop bumping into eachother before people get suspicious though 👀

I haven't been to a single meet since having my Zed believe it or not, really want to so trying to keep my eyes open for a local one!

 

I drove past a blue convertible HR recently who I flashed (my lights haha) and then proceeded to wave my arms frantically at, was a lady driving who didn't even acknowledge me

 

Oooo okay well I'll post up on here when there is something local happening if you like? Normally Cambridge/ Royston/ Newmarket way

 

Hahahaha I do that all the time!! I was playing with another Zed on the way home yesterday in my 14. He was waving! Had the same orange, black wheels and went into mildenhall! (Think he was more shocked that I was a girl haha)

Hiya, welcome to the forum, good looking import there. I will most likely see you about as I live and work in Yarmouth and I always wave/flash my lights at other Zeds. Guess that makes my a crazy guy

 

My car is not on the road at the moment, you may have seen it, usually parked outside the Casino on Yarmouth seafront. Its coming to the end of its winter break now and I cant wait to get back driving her.

 

We try to get some of the local Zeds and owners together on a Sunday night on Yarmouth seafront through the year, so you are most welcome if you can get along, watch the thread in the East Anglia for the date of the next one soon.

i have the K1 with decats that i picked up from another member on here and it is disgustingly loud and obnoxious... and i wouldn't change it for the world!

people can hear you comming from a mile away and you get all sorts of head turns, i had no issues with fitment like alot state but i would suggest if you get on with your neighbors to keep the cats on and the bungs in else you'll fall out with them very quickly with the system

HahahHahaha that sounds so amazing!!!!! My neighbours are so good with my motors actually haha they are used to our loud exhausts at stupid times in the morning! I am keeping the cats for the time being but I can't promise about the bungs hahaha

I live in Thetford, work in Yarmouth but go to meets in Cambridgeshire normally! I'll post up if there's any local meets that have been organised and see if any of you fancy it!

My new Fairlady, bought for my birthday. I've wanted one for years but it's never been the right time! Found this one, fell in love and am looking forward to making it my own a little more!

My 14a (Eral) Bought him a few years ago and is now stage 2 mapped, running a HKS intercooler, 555 injectors, japspeed and Blitz exhaust... the list is a little long on him!

And also in the household is my other halfs S15. Freshly imported by us after falling in love with it on an importers listing! It's got a crazy spec and is absolutely mental haha

So, yep... just saying Hello, seeing where everyone is and letting you know that I am one of those crazy girls who will wave if I see you haha

Thank you that's what I needed Irn Bru! It's all very well watching videos and listening to noises but I needed to know fitment problems, @*!# pipes, bad service or general advice on what people have found when they have been fitted!

It's all about taste at the end of the day.......and budget obviously, but I'm not one for spending mega on a mod that's only got a fraction of it on show, barr the Ark Grip system that is, but that's mega maccaroonies. The Toyosports exhaust came with the car, brand new, and not loud enough for me, so got the resonator deleted. ........ still not loud enough so decatted, but then my flexi went pop, so shelled out for a Stillen Y pipe, so now I'm running a full mongrel exhaust, Japspeed decats, stillen Y pipe and Toyosports exhaust, no fitment issues with all the different pieces and loud as............

Haha atleast you'll have a long shopping list on your wing thank you for you help!! I'm having a look about! It's just good to know what people have fitted and their opinions!

Just had Cobra non resonated cat back including Y pipe fitted. Sounds very nice in my opinion ðŸ‘

Ooo I'll have a look! I'd already looked at the Japspeed ones (I run the downpipe on my 14a) but they are all out of stock and sometimes the fitment on them is a bit of a pain
