  1. I recently picked up a slightly tired looking 2007 HR GT with full history and 64k miles for £6750. I knew up front it needed a new banana arm and a big service so I factored the £500 ish for that. Now it's a real peach. There are deals to be had, but mainly if you are willing to buy something that needs a little bit of work.

On the height question, I'm 6' 5" and about 19 stone. It's fine for me as a daily and I have the leather seats. Hope that helps.

  2. My Z seems to have the same issue on the passenger side. I did the brake test and the rattle went away :/

I will be picking up a pair of arms and either getting my local garage to do it, or having a go myself. If you're replacing the whole arm rather than just the bushing, is it a difficult job for driveway spannering? I installed coilovers on my old MX-5 and replaced brakes etc. Just wanted to check I won't get out of my depth before dismantling everything

  3. Hi all,

I will be going along to the classic car meet at the goat in Hertford Heath this Sunday. I'm sure we don't qualify for classic car status yet, but it's a fairly casual affair. I'd be happy to see some other members there if anyone is in the area. I should be there around 12 with a few friends. Reply in here if you think you can make it.

  4. Hi everyone,

I have been lurking on here for a while with the intention of picking up a 350z. Last weekend I pulled the trigger and picked up a 2007 HR coupe. I believe it was previously owned by another member here due to a forum sticker on the windscreen. The previous owner sadly died last year and it has been left standing for some time.

First port of call was to give it a good clean and a wax. Next port of call is a decent service. I have it booked in for engine, gearbox and diff oil along with brake and clutch fluids. Lastly I think it will need a new compression arm as I am getting a rattle a low speeds (ball joint?). At some point I will be getting the alloys refurbed as they have some curb rash.

I'm loving it already. Having come from an E92 335i auto, it already feels a lot more involving which is what I have been looking for.
