I paid £200 for them to be blasted and dipped, then refurbed and powder coated high gloss black.
That included removing the tyres, then putting them back on and re balancing.
He charges and extra £25 for a same day turn around leaving the car with him

Car Model and Engine: 2004 DE
OBD Adaptor Model: Vgate iCar 3
Device the app is running on: Samsung Tablet SM-T230
Gauges used on the app successfully (screen shot would be good): The normal coolant temp, inlet temp vacuum that are all work out the box
Hints or Tips: Oil temp isnt supported by the ECU

Thought it would be a good idea to get all the info on the above in one place, partly because im not having much joy running it myself to the extent I want, but cant find many answers on whether what I want is possible!
Might not be of massive interest, but it does seem a few people use it, and the same queries about it pop up quite a lot over quite a few forums.
So if people could put down:

Hopefully this way we can get a decent pool of knowledge together!

Been using this app a bit (not on the Z much). Got the fully paid version using a bluetooth dongle from ebay. Well spent monies so far. Just wondering if anyone here know what data you can read from the Z (full version) and if any of the below PIDs work.
PIDS that work out of the box with Torque:
Load
Fuel Level
RPM
Intake Temp
Intake manifold pressure(in kPa)
Coolant Temp
Vacuum/Boost Gauge
Barometric Pressure
Mass air flow rate(in g/s not voltage)
Throttle Position
Timing Advance(Works, at WOT shows near 0 degrees. Yay stock tune!)
Enhanced PIDs you have to manually enter
Long name & short name can be whatever you want. I tried to stick to conventional names.

Has anyone had any luck getting these manual entered PIDs to work?

+1 for the vgate reader linked earlier in the thread.
Ordered one based on this, and its arrived and working a treat!

Wow! Lovely motor!
The air duct, does it only work with aftermarket intakes?
Where have you fitted your catch tank?

Not much in the way of big modifications of late.
I did the flyboy air box mod and fitted a hks panel filter.
My Brodit phone holder is in.
And I'm working on fitting a tablet:
Will be hardwiring a power source in and using tasked to switch it on with ignition.
But for now at least it will just be Velcro taped in place.

Hes pull out of the deal, apparently had a better offer!
Think it may be a luck escape though, will wait and get a new one with everything i need!
Thanks for the heads up!
-
I've come across and agreed a deal for a plenum spacer (second hand), but it doesn't appear to have any bolts with it?
Is this an issue or will the existing bolts suffice?

Brilliant, thanks ever so much for your help!

So i use the piggy back fuse to replace the one for the cigarette lighter, put the original fuse in for the lighter circuit then fuse the power to the table. Then find a grounding point for the negative side?
-
Im look for something more discreet i can wire in along these lines:
But not sure if thats what i need?
Definitely see the merits of the USB one though, but at this point cant see the need as the existing tablet and phone i have will cover everything i need off, and only installing the tablet as i had it lying around, and want to run the torque app or something similar.
Cheers

Morning,
Im looking a running a tablet in my car, on a non permanent basis (just velcro tape for the minute at least).
I use my phone in the one USB slot that my head unit has, so to power the tablet I want to hard wire a charger into the car.
To do so what is it that i need?
Read through a lot of tablet install threads, but cant quite determine what i need.
I want to run the power from the cigarette lighter in the passenger footwell, assuming that only powers up when the ignition is on?
Cheers

It didn't take long, for the Z bug to bite!
After seeing mopedmarks gear knobs, I knew I wanted on straight away!
Twinned with what must be the first modification I do for most cars, replacement gaiters. Its really brightened up what I thought was a some what drab and boring interior!
Have to say the change to the gear change is dramatic, really has made it a far easier change!
Also spotted of another forum trader the alloy vent trim plates.
Fitted these, at the same time. Not so happy with these at this point. The adhesive doesn't seem to being doing the job and every time I get in the car I have to press them back down, not sure if its the hot temperatures we are experiencing at the minute that are stopping them from sticking properly.
But i do like the look, and when i get the fixing sorted it will be another little thing to bling up the dash!
Hopefully the phone holder will arrive this week for fitting for the weekend!

Received mine yesterday! Can put in to words how impressed i am with the quality! Hoping to fit tonight!

Thanks for the comments guys!
I was told about the lights by the seller, but hadn't really noticed any difference!
Really enjoying driving her at the minute and learning the car, that said there is an ever growing list of things I want to modify!
-
So my car has the above - not sure if it's original or replica.
I'd like to get it looking something like this:
Has anyone fitted the canard ms and duct to this bumper and offer up any tips or guidance for purchasing and fitting?

Can you PM me the order details please.

So after a 2 week wait from putting my deposit down on my first 350Z, i picked her up on saturday!
The trip down was slightly ruined by my dads demo car being a renault megane, with possibly the most uncomfortable seats Ive ever sat in!
That was all a dim and distant memory as i pulled off and set out and the route back to Stoke from Redditch!
Didnt take long to fall in love with the car, I know at this point its all novel and new, but by god it seems almost perfect!
I didnt get much time to enjoy her for the rest of the weekend, but i did take her for a quick wash at a local place, and got the obligatory snaps done.
Shes a 2004 - so a DE engine from my limited knowledge.
Paint work for the most part is bang on, with a few age related marks and the usual stone chipping on the front bumper, which i believe is a NISMO V2, but will look to get this all in order very soon.
The exhaust note is just addictive, really does burble along lovely at lower revs, then sounds like all hell is breaking loose when you floor it!
The Zeitus has alread started, as ive ordered a gear knob from Mopedmark, to accompany some red/black gaiters, hoping to brighten up the interior a bit.
Also got a proclip and brodit phone holder to install, which will work wonders with the already fitted Pioneer double din head unit.
Then once i have grown use to the existing power it will be on to plenum spacers, air filters etc.

So this is the camera that is an optional extra for the head unit:
http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/nd-bc8/specifications
The one from ebay is a CMOS camera, same as the Pioneer one, so i think this would work!
Any feedback or experience?

Hi,
Look for confirmation that this:

Will work with a Pioneer AVH-X3700DAB?
If not any guidance to one that will link up?
Cheers
