Hi Guys,
I am after a BOSE headunit for my 350z HR. But it has to be the CY03D version as it can play MP3 CD's and has a CD changer port on the back where you can get a device to and use USB's, SD cards etc.
These CY03D units are really only available on US models but if someone has had one and wants to sell, I would be interested.

Avoid Smiths Nissan in Peterborough. Awful customer service, especially from a guy called Kevin Joyce.

That is your compression rod bushing and is definitely an MOT failure.
It is a wear and tear item and is a common failure.
New bushings are in stock but you will require a commercial press to remove and refit the bushing.
Also in stock are new arms complete with bushings and ball joints, which is the easier option.
Just drop me a PM if I can help further.
Alex.
Hi Alex,
Thank you for your message.
The parts you supply, are they the Genuine Nissan parts? If so, could you send me a quote on the complete arm please?
Cheers

Hi Guys,
I am after the Genuine Y pipe with good flexi on them. I know a lot of you guys remove these to put aftermarket ones, any good to pristine condition ones would be excellent!
I just had my MOT done and the passenger side flexi seems to be going, ripping apart but not leaking.
Not mega urgent at the moment.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Very odd one, I took my 2009 350z HR which has covered 35,000 miles. Everything was fine, he was really pleased with the car. He then took me to the car and showed me that the front driver side bush is coming out of the suspension arm? (apologies if I haven't got the correct name for it). It passed as it didn't effect the test but something i need to address.
What's the best way to address this? Replace the complete arm, replace the bushes etc. And why would this happen? These are pressed and not meant to come out are they?

Any advise will be appreciated guys.
Cheers

Thanks for all the advise guys - I've kept the battery disconnected until the new ordered trickle charger arrives. The battery was replaced last year by Nissan under warranty.
Yesterday (After 1 month) I connected the battery up to see if it had lost much charged and it started up - it was a weak start but did fire fine.
Cheers

Hi guys,
I'm garaging my 350z HR for over winter, i just wanted to ask the best way to preserve the battery? Would it be ok to disconnect the battery terminals or would I encounter issues after (i.e. airbag light etc?).
Any advise will be appreciated,
Thanks

I should have these in stock, however, you will be quicker and cheaper by just using a length of electrical wiring cable and crimping on a couple of connectors either end.
Do you keep new ones in stock or used ones mate?
cheers

Thanks mate - its like brand new, not a mark on it and 100% factory original! (even the wiper blades are from factory on it). Its only got 37,000 on it and registered on a 2009 plate (one of the last ones). It's the HR model. I keep it immaculate and drive it 6 months out of the year, the rest is garaged for winter. I've seen some rusty ones about so avoid letting it on the salty roads.
Yours looks pretty nice too mate! Not seen many convertibles about!
