  1. My brother bought me a new katana shift knob for my birthday from Mod Nats.

I haven't had the car out since the show so don't know what it's like to change with it yet but it feels nice and chunky.

  4. That's a good price, it needs updating but my pc is more or less had it so I need to replace it before I can check my sat nav did.

I did find this on the 370z forum that was interesting and works.

Our head units have a hidden menu to access different settings, 1 of is that you can change the Bluetooth name of the car😆. It's a simple thing but I change mine to bubble bee zed 😅

    Try this.

There is a system menu and there are a number of things you can adjust with it, including the bluetooth volume (which I found useful):

    1) Turn the car to "ON" or "ACCESSORY"

    2) Turn Audio off by pressing the volume knob in (only necessary if it is on)

3)Press and hold the SETTINGS button

(If the safety acknowledgment screen comes up, press enter to get past it, then press and hold the SETTINGS button)

    4) While still holding down the SETTINGS button, turn VOLUME KNOB approximately 20 clicks in either direction but do not press the knob (i.e. don't turn on the audio)

This gives you several menus for checking a variety of diagnostic functions, including a system self-test. You can also reset and control a number of bluetooth, speaking and other features

  5. Thanks for the info. I'll have a search for one.

I only noticed the sat nav dvd thing was behind my seat a couple of weeks ago when took the service book out and noticed a removable panel, so I pulled it off and there it was. 😂

  6. Do you know anything about reversing camera,I have one fitted linked to my sat nav box behind my seat, but it was working until I stripped out the panels, checked all wires but cannot seem to find anything

No I don't, sorry mate. The only time iv fitted Reversing Cameras is to aftermarket head units with reverse camera input. I didn't even know I could have a reverse camera on this car.

How does it wire in because now I want one :D:thumbs:

  7. Have you ever driven one.

    no then 😂😂😂

nice , let me know how you get on with them, power, noise etc B)

So i did a 190 mile trip yesterday and as expected there was zero power increase what so ever but it sounds slightly louder when I put my foot down. That's really about it and I like the look of them in the engine bay. 😆

Couple of pics from Modified Nationals with my Bro.

Met loads of interesting people but didn't see any other 370's. A fair few 350's though

  8. No worries.

Your not the only one mad on cleaning.😂 I get called ocd by everyone I know, even my daily is kept as clean as this one and my house and my electric truck at work. 😂😂

I was looking around on ebay the other day and there were no yellow ones for sale, but until I bought this I had no idea there was only 40 made. We should start a thread somewhere for all the yellow owners. ðŸ‘

  9. Np mate. Iv only been a quick drive around the village to try it out so far, but I'm off to Peterborough tomorrow so it'll get a proper drive so I'll see how they sound then.

  10. So these K&N intakes came up in the for sale section last week by sarg, so I thought why not.

I know they do zero for power but I like the sound.

Easy fit but took a few hours because I did some more cleaning while I was at it.

  11. Iv looked at those too, it's looks nice and as you say 'no painting'. I was thinking of v2 nismo front but after the Bodyshop told me I need the whole front end painting because of the yellow colour to blend in its put me off a bit.

  12. Thanks pal. They're made by Ikon and came from LA PUENTE Califonia.

I did contact zakustech because I thought they were the only company that did louvers, but didn't find them very helpful and stupid expensive.

Then I found these Ikon louvers which I personally like the angles and shape so much more than the flat zociety ones.

Still a fair few £ after buying, shiping, customs and paint but I think they're a Bobby dazzler.

  13. I did wonder why I couldn't just have the bumper sprayed. My bonnet looks a very slightly different shade sometimes depending on the light and I'm sure my petrol cap does as well.

Don't think iv seen this colour before but it really pops ðŸ‘ðŸ‘and I love the reg plate, I like to collect them allthough I only have 4

  14. Finally had my louver fitted 6 weeks after I first ordered it all the way from Califonia. Then had it painted piano black.

Easy to fit and light but my backs had it so I got my Bro to do most of the work.

Maybe not to everyone's liking but never mind because I love the look and still see out the back.
