  1. Buying anything used is always a risk. Just don't know what previous owners have been doing to the thing. There's some proper @*!# drivers out there lol

Do your research and buy a well looked after example with good history.

Depends on your own style, a Z4 is a hairdressers car in my eyes but everyone has their own style I guess.

    Good luck

  2. Thought I'd throw my opinion on the reliability side following earlier opinions to balance the debate.

Had my roadster from new for nearly 7 years. Only thing I've spent money on as a necessity was a windscreen washer pump. Cars otherwise in perfect condition.

Mechanically solid car but not refined. Very rough on the edges but that's part of the appeal I guess.

Would I buy another one? I dunno actually.. Tough question!

  3. I've got a full motordyne setup. ART pipes and full shockwave system.

The craftsmanship is excellent but its a premium compared to other setups.

Its rediculousily loud and aggressive but what I wanted. Try out a listen to different cars to see what sound you like.

Be careful if you're thinking of dropping your car. I've had mine on coilovers and the rear can't go too low as the exhaust pipes at the confluence get battered.

    Good luck!

  4. Just a shout out to the Cougar Store guys for their great service. Had a full Motordyne Shockwave exhaust system and ART pipes. Just had it back on the weekend after having some coilovers and spacers fitted.

Car feels like a different beast. Had it 6 years now and like it more now compared to when it was new bizarrely lol!

Props to Mitz and his knowledge. Back I. The new year for Camber arms and ARBs and maybe some other bits

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough

  5. MrsNiki how much did SVM charge you for your ECUTEK if you don't mind me asking?

How long does a workshop normally take? Would take it to Abbey but is far from me.
