  1. Hi all,

I have recently noticed that there is a bit of lacquer peel starting on the lower section of my 2014 nismo.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

What are my options? Contact Nissan and see about warranty? There are no obvious stone chips that could have started the peel.

I'm in Norwich and haven't had any experience with the local dealers

    Any help is appreciated

  2. Hello fellow nismo owners, has anyone on here had experience with aftermarket exhausts not sitting right with the nismo rear bumper? I've recently purchased an Armytrix cat back and noticed that it sits quite low in relation to the back bumper and the tips are smaller (4.25") than the stock ones. Hopefully it can be adjusted to sit slightly higher as the tip clips are visible just now.

  3. The rest of the exhaust is quite tight fitting so I'm not sure that even if I move the hangers that the actual pipework will move. Will need to find somewhere around Norwich to take the car as I have no tools at my flat. Any recommendations?

  4. Having recently had an Armytrix valvetronic exhaust fitted to my MK1 Nismo (370) it is apparent that the 4.5" tips are smaller and sit lower than the stock nismo exhaust. This means that the exhaust clamps are visible and where the tips reduce to the tail pipe is visible. Has anyone got any suggestions of how to fix this other than cutting the tail pipes from the back box, bending and re-welding. I want to keep the Armytrix tips if possible they look good themselves but just sit too low.

There is no movement in the exhaust mounts so can't do much with that.

Hopefully someone on here will have experience with exhaust fitment on a mk1 nismo

    Any help is appreciated

  5. I'm on the same boat, long drive back down from Aberdeen to largs for me then cleaning the car tomorrow. Going to buy an exhaust for the nismo after this trip, hopefully get some ideas from cars on this trip. What exhausts does everyone have? I'm looking at the Armytrix but it seems pretty steep compared to a fully custom.

  6. Did you decide on one of these? I'm looking for an exhaust for my 2014 370z nismo and the Armytrix is looking to be the preferred choice at the minute. Do these fit the nismo perfectly?

  7. Might meet you in largs for the drive up to duck bay if I am free that morning Scottyd423, I live next door in Fairlie, surprised I have not seen your car about?

Probably advise filling up in Port Glasgow as its a cheap Tesco and the last cheap fuel you will find probably.

Sounds like a plan to me mate, I work in Aberdeen during the week and am usually about at the weekends, drive through Fairlie every Fri, sat, sun to go the the gym though. I'm sure I seen passed you in my hire car in largs, big intercooler on the front? I'm sure I posted in the spotted section. Could meet at the vikingar in the morning.

  8. Hi fellow zed lovers!

I have recently bought a 370z nismo from Burnley after looking for a new car for over a year. I looked at all sorts from S3's to X5's and I have definitely made the right choice.

I'm from a small seaside town called Largs (West coast of Scotland) and work in Norwich alot of the time so will hopefully get to meet alot of you guys on here.

I've booked up my first trip with the forum too, going on the "scotlands route 66 trip" next month.

My previous car (still have it) is a seat ibiza bocanegra which I still find it hard to part with as it was a cracking wee car.

Eying up the first mod for the nismo too, looking for an exhaust as the stock one is a bit tame for such an aggressive looking machine!

Can't wait to attend some big meets!
