  1. A tad random bringing this thread up again but I've just came across it.

This is my old zed. I'm the one who spent four and a half months prepping this for paint. 6 months of sourcing parts trying to make my perfect car. I put my blood sweat and tears into this 7 days a week to get this perfect.

Now I see she was crashed has ripped a huge hole in my heart.

    I'm in disbelief

Here's a pic of my zed with lmgt4's which I painted satin black.

Btw the car is actually very much orange, just the pearl in the sun plus @*!# camera turns it very much yellow. Thought u might appreciate an idea tho.

I'm a spray painter and paint gloss black wheels on a regular basis and iv just never been a fan tbh, I feel they just clash with Matt tires no matter how much tire shine you use.

And Matt turns them an unwashed grey look. Just my opinion tho.

  3. Ye don't think I'll go for blue tip. The cars loud enough (visually) think the blue tips could be a step too far.

Contemplating taking the mid silencer out tho, the car is loudish but fades away a bit when going up the revs. Hopefully doesn't make it droany

  4. So after doing some research, turns out standard gtr tips are 110 mm or just below 4.5 inches where as the gtr miltek tips are 5 inch, so ye think they will be overkill.

Decided to go with 4.5 inch, possibly straight cut inward rolled.

  5. I had 5" slash cut (though not thin walled) R35 gtr tips on mine, and I always thought how I wouldn't want to go any smaller. They petruded the bumper a bit too, so didn't make the bumper rounded like above :)

My friend actually has 5" r35 gtr miltek tips he has offered me for free, but I thought they might be a bit overkill

Then try them :) I defiantly dont think they are, maybe if it wasnt with the chargespeed..

I'm not actually sure they would even fit in the chargespeed recess

Might grab them and test fit

  7. I'd say 4" straight cut rolled stainless steel tips.

Definitely something like below in order to fill the larger exhaust cut outs in the rear diffuser. B);)

I'm unsure if they are 4 or 4.5" because they do look perfect on that car

  8. As some of u may know from my previous threads I can never make my mind up!

I want to change my exhaust tips on my zed as I want a little bigger and fresher.

Just now it has 3.5" slash cut on an already full custom stainless steel system. It has a chargespeed rear bumper.

On left 4" inward slash cut 1/2" thick for a fuller look

On right 4.5" slash cut, burnt tip thin metal

These are two options from a very reputable company.

Some images of the back of my car to get an idea.

I'm more towards the 4" slash cut, I think the big burnt tip can turn this car ehh... Fast n furious?

Then looked at some on the net, and starting to think straight cut would look more powerful to match in with it being supercharged.

Slash cut makes bumper too round?

Anyway essay over, as I'm sure you have gathered im a perfectionist. And would love some outside my own head thoughts and opinions from u guys.

Thanks to this forum I found the paint I love!

    Cheers guys.

  9. The Gunmetal was nice but nowhere near as striking as the orange. Who did the paint job as the car must have been well stripped back to do a complete colour change. It looks a great job. B) B) B)

Thanks, it was me that done all the work, I'm a spray painter it took about 3 months to do all the work. I became incredibly anal, any imperfection was sorted. But knew it would be worth it in the end.

  10. Nice!! Whats the rear spoiler??

    It's a blitz rear spoiler.

    Nice!!!

Ye its kinda subtle, the whole car would look completely different with a bigger spoiler, which as much as I love I wasn't after.

  11. Check out super zed by leosille

Yep your right, a look into the threads and they are the previous owners.

I can tell from old pics the engine bay used to look perfect but has never been cleaned or looked after by previous owner to me. I'll soon get it to its former glory tho.
