  1. Just thought it's worth a shot in case they still hang out on here as well! Although that's under the assumption they had a 350/370 before
  2. Spotted a white GTR in Farnham. Came up Downing Street then headed up Castle Street at around 8:55. Plate started with MK59. I was in my GM 350. Anyone?
  3. There were quite a few potential yeses last time it was mentioned on this thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/99250-370-nismo-farnham/ Haha, well from that I think it's safe to say I've never been in your general vicinity! I live by the Farnham FC and work in Badshot Lea, so I guess I'm not out and about enough to run into you. I do know what your 370 looks like though as I've tumblr stalked you a few times. Love it
  4. Ahhh, that's the name for it! I just googled that and that's definitely the colour I saw. I still haven't spotted anyone from the forums it seems, including you! Whatever happened to the idea of having a Farnham meet anyhow?
  5. Hey Karl, First of all, I'm no expert! Just thought I'd contribute my 2 cents, as I struggled with something similar. I'm not sure how useful it'll be though! I installed a SPH-DA100 in my car (04 plate with Bose) a few months ago, and bought everything from a company called InCarTec. Here's the 2 pages that may be useful (is GT4 an 05?): 03-06 - http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1036/2072/148/Browser.aspx 06-10 - http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1036/2072/150/Browser.aspx Back when I bought it, they did a kit that included everything, but looks like they've removed that now. For the mine (04) at least, I think I got the: 50-256 Nissan 350Z Radio Facia Double Din 29-674 Nissan 350z Bose Steering control interface 29-007 PIONEER patch lead for 29 series SWC The above let me keep my steering wheel controls. Wiring-wise... yeah... I'm a bit of a tard too so it took me a while to do. The instructions ICT didn't help me much, so I just spent ages Googling and browsing this forum and somehow got it working in the end. I plan to take out my centre console soon to do something (possibly this weekend), so I can try take some pics for you while I'm at it. Also happy to try and track down some links that I have, but I can't remember which ones I found most useful. While you're at it though, you could consider the following too: Reverse camera - This took a little bit of time to arrive, but at that price I don't think you can complain Works really well so I would definitely recommend it It literally replaces one of your numberplate lights Reverse camera install - Guide on how to install it, as well as other bits and pieces AppRadio Unchained - If you're using an Android phone, this lets you mirror your phone onto your App Radio - Bypass the handbrake detection so you aren't restricted. It's a safety feature you're bypassing, so do this at your own discretion I hope that all made sense and at least helps you get going. At work so I typed this in between doing some work, talking to colleagues/clients etc... Hodaka

    It's a yay for me
  7. Couldn't see reg, but spotted a blue 370z pulling into the Farnham Station car park today at around 7pm! Anyone here?
  8. No problem. Glad it was helpful!
  9. Heya, Are these any good? Not sure if I got the colours right, but let me know feedback and I'm happy to change! Hodaka
  10. Shame I live so far away, would probably been interested in these! GLWS though. Will keep an eye on this in case you don't sell to someone local.
  11. Thanks for the replies guys - much appreciated I guess I'll ask them to put in redline gearbox oil + molyslip when they do the clutch & flywheel replacement then!
  12. Hi guys, I was hoping you guys could help me. I'm still quite clueless when it comes to cars, so please bear with me! The Zed is my second car (had a Z4 3.0i SMG before which developed issues), and it's only after I got the Zed that I wanted to start learning more about cars etc... I have a 2004 Zed (UK model with just over 65k miles) and the biting point is very high. High to the point that I sort of tip toe when releasing the clutch... I haven't noticed any slippage but I've taken it to a garage (TGM Motorsport) and they said it needs replacing soonish, probably within a few thousand miles. So I will be replacing that in the very near future. Probably the Xtreme kit by CM or JWT combo by TORQEN. Haven't researched enough on that bit yet to know for sure. Anyhow, this bring me to the gearbox. It's quite a rare occurrence, but sometimes if I shift up from 1st to 2nd when driving enthusiastically (6 ~ 6.5k rev) it doesn't go into gear and grinds instead. I'm still relatively new to manual (the Zed is my first manual, and I've had her for about 14 months) so it's not like I'm trying to quick shift / power shift or anything like that. As I say, it's quite a rare occurrence, i.e. in the last 4 months it's happened twice. Most of the time there isn't an issue, although going into second does feel notchy. I'm not even sure if that's the correct phrase to be honest! It's just not as smooth to go into 2nd - it requires a very minor zig zag like pattern rather than straight down. So questions are: What could be causing the grinding issue? As it's not happening often / all the time, does it mean it's less likely to be caused by worn synchros? Can a wearing clutch cause anything like this, as I guess I'd be pressing down on the clutch pedal faster etc..? If it is a gearbox issue, what sort of price do CD009's go for these days? Sorry waffling on and for the barrage of questions! As I say, I'm a bit clueless so wanted to try and cover everything I think is relevant. Thanks in advance guys!
  13. Technically, yes they could. 1. The lights aren't forward facing, they show to the side. YOu can only show orange to the side. 2. They don't dim when the headlights are turned on. Practically, they don't. I used to make and sell a few variations of these lights. I too still run another model which I never ended up selling which has indicators built into it aswell. Car has been driven about 20,000 miles and passed 3 MOT's with the LED's on so I wouldn't worry Thanks a lot for your input! Definitely good to hear another member's experience with something similar. Helps put my mind at ease
  14. Cheers for this great guide! It took a while as I couldn't get the bumper off (frozen bolts), but I finally got my reflectors installed today. The only difference is that I put Fly Eye over my reflectors to make them darker. Also helps hide 2 cracks that run along the reflectors. Quite subtle during the day: These were taken at about 8-8:30 tonight I think, so it was darker. The camera brightened the picture up, so it kinda just looks like an overcast day. Oh, and these pictures are just with sidelights on (headlight off). Just not entirely sure about the legality of them as they're side facing? Is it something police would stop you for? I've been trying to read through the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations, but to be honest it's just making my head spin! Used bullet connectors though, so easy enough to disconnect if I have issues.
  15. Would love this, but waaaaay too far away for me. GLWS though!
  16. Yeah it was good thanks. Relaxed lots, ate and drank far too much!!! Ah right. Well best of luck and let me know if you do hate it and want to see white. Looking forward to seeing pics if it all goes smoothly!
  17. Hey, I'm back! Just wondering if you still want these done? If so, I'll get it done this weekend.
