  1. Probably a stupid question but is the 370z twin turbo kit and 350z essentially the same? I know it won't be 100% fit but would the majority of the components in the kit fit? Would like to twin turbo my 350z HR but there are not a lot of kits out there for RHD, I have found some kits for the 370z so i was thinking buying one for the 350z and making it fit (if there isnt much to do to make it fit). I know AAM has made RHD kit for the 370z but they have yet to test fit anything to the 350z.

Also, anyone know if their is a difference in piping between the LHD and RHD twin turbos?(350z)

any input would be greatly appreciated

  2. ^^ Zed looks very good. ;)B)

Does the colour of the new bumper match okay in person as it looks a little brighter shade in the pic?

It does not match 100% unfortunately but from certain lighting/angles you cant really tell haha... the paint on the car is almost 10 years old, I am hoping an exterior detail would lighten up the rest of the car a little bit

  3. On my old 350, I had nismo v2 also, with tarmac side spliiters. I had my side steps colour coded, but the lip on the v2 gloss black. Nearly changed a few times but always kept it black in the end. My mate, the new owner had the lip colour coded when getting the bumper re done, and to be honest it looks a lot better than I thought. I would may even go as far as saying I prefer it. Below is a pic of my old car (top) but with my mates ownership, so grey lip. And below that is a pic of another mates car, with a black lip.

looks sick man, I might actually just colour match the lip and wrap it gloss black if i dont like it. Another main reason why i want to colour match is because i want to get the nismo rear addons as well but I dont want them to be black because it doesnt look right to me

May i ask where you bought the new bumper and how much?..thinking of changing mine also.

    Mike

costs a lot about £650 with shipping from the US (ebay), its expensive because its made of polyurethane. You can buy a fiberglass one for around half the price, I think there is a vendor on here that sells them but cant remember who

  4. Hey guys so I ordered a nismo v2 front bumper which should be here in a week or so and I cant for the life of me decide on what colour to paint the front lip. Initially i was going with black because I am running the tarmac sportz side splitters in gloss black so I wanted everything to match (black side splitters, black front lip and black wheels etc.) but now that I looked at some pictures of the front lip colour matched with the rest of the car I cant decide which to go with.

What are your thoughts? gloss black front lip or colour matched?

if you like to know this is how my car looks atm, cant see it this picture but I am running a front lip

  5. Hi guys, I am currently wanting to replace my stock cats but can't decide between the berk hfc and MD art test pipes. They are both high quality and very similar pricing. I really like the MD ART because the rapsy/hissing of a HFC/TP is pretty much non resistant and it is slightly quieter than HFC and TP but I also like the berk hfc because it is more street friendly.

    What are your thoughts?

    Berks HFC

Pros- No smell, high quality, performance gain, great fitment, can pass emissions

    Cons- raspy/hissing

    Motordyne ART

Pros - High Quality, performance gains, quieter than HFC and test pipes, good fitment

Cons - Bad Smell/fumes, does not pass emissions

Exhaust System on my car: Motordyne XYZ Y pipe and Tomey Y back Exhaust

  6. Stillen Y pipe is popular, Tarmac Sportz can supply :)

They dont have the flexi joints that eventually fall apart

yeah have looked at the stillen y pipe but the australian dollar isnt that best at the moment haha its about $500 for the ypipe and thats not including shipping

  7. hi guys, I'm currently running tomei y back exhaust and i am looking to replace my oem y pipe because its pretty much destroyed from my car being extremely low. I cannot decide on a y pipe, ive been looking at the motordyne xyz but i cant justify the price ($850 with shipping to be exact). Do you guys have suggestions on which Y pipe i should go with? I would prefer a y pipe with at least a resonator as I would like to upgrade to cats soon also

  9. So I am looking to replace my front bumper on my 07 Z, reason being it is completely banged up from the car being quite low and I have parking sensors installed which I want to remove. I would have the bumper repaired but it would cost too much to get it back to mint condition. Now the question is whether to buy a new oem front bumper+a new front lip which would cost about 1k AUD/550 GDP (currently have a CF front lip but its almost destroyed as well) or buy a replica v1 front bumper which would more or less cost the same...I really want the v1 front bumper but it is hard to find a half decent replica that would fit without any major work.

    what are your thoughts?

    - oem front bumper with ings front lip or mines replica

    - V1 front bumper

also any places in the uk that stock or can get the v1 front bumper? before I decide

  10. Hey guys and girls, sorry if this is in the wrong area but I was wondering how you guys clean your wheels? what you guys use to clean etc. because i got my wheels a few months ago and I am very hesitant about wiping down my wheels because I do not want to scratch them (my wheels get dirty quite frequently from brake dusts)....any tips or suggestions on how to clean wheels will be greatly appreciated.

  11. Hey boys and girls, I bought myself the tarmac sportz side splitters which arrived today (4 working days from the UK to Australia, very fast shipping by the guys at tarmac sportz). As soon as it arrived I went and test fitted them and ran into a small issue.... their is a little plastic bit that is blocking the splitters from sitting flush and I was just wondering how you guys over came this issue. did you completely remove the whole plastic? or carefully cut the plastic?

  12. It's a GodSpeed exhaust... which Iooks remarkabIy simiIar to an ARK exhaust I have to say!? Just Iooked at prices for these, they're mega cheap, but do sound phenominaI. Very dry sound!

yeah it sounds great when driving, quite a lot of drone at around 2k RPM at around 50 miles per hour but again as soon as I am at stand still it starts blowing out air lol

  13. just installed the system myself but it doesnt sound right when idling, sounds like its not flowing as well as it should (sounds nice when reving though). Anyone know the reason why it sounds like this?

all the piping are lined up as far as I can see. the car backfires a little as well.

might need to turn up the volume.
