  1. Well my friend I need them to get me through an MOT. After 2 years of an uprev with plenum spacer, full exhaust and sports cats I failed emissions this time round:thumbdown: . So for me it's what  I'm willing to pay just to see if it gets me through. Can I give you £80? Or can I rent them from you for an MOT lol (joking, unless B)..... ) With the remap I won't be able to run with them after anyway, I'd have to get the remap done again really so I have to put my cats back on. Awkward situation to be honest but I thought mine would last longer.

  2. OK so I may have to drop out....

Had a noise coming from the rear of the car since I came back from japfest at the weekend. Finally got out to having a look and I'm pretty sure I have play in my wheel so aka a shagged bearing.

Problem is I had my wheels refurbed recently and right now I can't get the dam wheel off, why hes tightened them that much I don't know. Ive never, not been able to undo a wheel nut.

Anyway I'm not sure how I feel about this. I should be taking a trip to the garage really, not a jolly outing ?

  3. Hi

i have an Aerokit spec r-1 front bumper which is new, ordered from Tarmac. I was collecting bits and bobs ready for a change in appearance however i have changed my mind (like a thousand times) and no longer want it after managing to acquire a genuine Veilside lip and some other stuff

Tarmac Sells them at £236 and im asking for £190. Check his site for info

No prep or anything has been done

I don't advise delivery as i've had so many body type bits damaged in transit its just not worth the hassle. Im in Nottingham.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or if you want any more info.

  4. G35 Spats Genuine Nissan (***NOW SOLD***)

    Hi guys

I have some genuine G35 spats for grabs here, brand new from tarmac earlier this year but have been sat in my store room after i decided it was too much work with the diffuser i have and not worth it.

I paid £99, they have been unboxed but that's it, full instructions and fittings included.

    80 collected (Nottingham)

    86 delivered

  5. Sports cat are one thing but de-cat, i cant see how you will get the EML off without a re-map, the ECU will throw a wobly until you program it otherwise. After i had a full through system with HFC's my EML came on after i booted it down the motorway, The codes (yes codeS plural, as this will throw many emission/02/co2 related codes) were all checked and found to be related to the cats etc. A remap is the only way unless your attempting to do something i'm not aware of to trick the ECU.

  6. I have a full through cobra system with their Sports CATs, plenum spacer, wazzos velocity stack airbox mod, and an uprev remap. sounds AWESOME always turns heads. will never change

    OMG tunnels

  7. I also second this opinion of Exhaust/Cat buildup. I have experienced this during warm conditions and booting it. I now have a new full cobra exhaust system with cobra CATS and an uprev and haven't had this issue since but i expect it to come back one day. I believe it to be a build up from inner city driving (my Work commute is 6 miles tops) then opening her up. Since I've had the upgrades though she gets opened up all the time (OMG the sound). either that or my clutch will go at some point, either way don't worry

  8. RE: boot lid - I fixed this by doing a rear wiper delete and when you take the trim off he inside there is also a pointless weight sitting in there, i took approx 8KG out. now the boot lid pops up nicely and you never have to press the button twice (sometimes the initial button release wouldn't release the catch)

If you don't want a wiper delete (there are threads on how to do this and its easy) you will still achieve this by taking the trim out and removing the weight

  9. I have loads, I'll post some tomorrow. I'm fitting flyboys VS by candle light right now 😃.

I have to say... Although my friend couldn't make it, the only forum member I really know besides mitz and a few traders,I met a great bunch of friendly people. That was a great morning.

there didn't seem to be much happening any closer, in the notts/east mids area this year. I'll look forward to the summer season and be prepared to travel a tad more.

    Cheers guys.

  10. I went 20 all round on my rays, looks great, feels fine, although I will be getting my tracking/alignment done for piece of mind as it did feel a little off at the beginning but was probably just paranoid.
