Sorry I should make it clear mine is the 2006 GT uprev
I do have other mods, just didn't include them!
I have the tein springs, rear camber arms and toe bolts, braided brake and clutch lines, got awesome tyres (PS3s), tinted windows, fly eye wrapped rear lights and loads of non performance stuff
The noise is fine, I'm only 21 so not overly fussed, plus I work in a very loud environment so my ears are wrecked anyhow.
By General performance I just mean difference in acceleration, noise, general feel!
When I get it fitted I shall strap my gopro to it and get a vid for you guys, here's a link to an older video of mine (no idea how to link sorry)

Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong area!
As it stands I have a Berks intake, hks panel filter, cobra non resonated system on my 2006 Rev up.
Monday I'm having a JWT flywheel and stage 1 exedy clutch fitted, along with my Berks test pipes.
I've read varying reviews but what should I realistically expect performance wise?
I'm not talking BHP I mean general performance!
Also unrelated but I'm in the Lake District next weekend if anyone fancies a cruise!

as per the title really, i am based in beccles, suffolk. willing to travel up to 100 miles.
reason for posting is that all garages around me refuse to fit them!
thanks

Drop a PM to one of our resident tuners, like Horsham or Abbey.
but, unless your changing your cam profiles your powerband will not change and you wont be making any higher peak power beyond what it is now.
if the obvious choice of more power isnt what your after, and you just want to rev the bollox off of it for fun, then check what rpm the valve springs are good for on the '06 engines.
I hope that was helpful...
I have no experience with a Bee. But the concept is still the same.
UNLESS of course i am making a wrong assumption, and you actually want to reduce the rev limiter (for when the missus gets in the car. lol)
cheers for the decent reply, if im honest its for the launch control and the ****ing about.

hi i am looking to buy a bee r for my 350z but not getting a clear answer from anywhere.
i have someone who can fit it, just want to know if anyone has one fitted?
my car is running a plenum spacer, stainless Y pipe, berks decat and cobra non resonated system.
will it do any damage to the car? it wont be used 24/7.
helpfull comments only please, lots of people seem to get flamed for asking this

think im going to have to, ah well! was hoping it was just an earth issue
-
hi i have just fitted a wireless reverse camera to my 06 350z gt but it makes a quiet static noise whenever keys in ignition.
its wired positively to the main power for the headunit. its some touch screen double din. no idea what make.
its earthed at the earthing point behind the radio.
video output is fine, then it goes abit grainy after a bit.
im thinking i could have a bad earth? or am i completely wrong?
thanks

This sounds very similar to the issues I have JUST had, also had a judder on low speed braking, car felt like it was in high winds when on the motorway, wallowing all over and TCS cutting very early on normal speed corners.
Been to Jez at Horsham Dev today, appears to be a massively f***ed rear wheel bearing.
Just a suggestion
caliper may be hot if like mine yours is cutting the TCS in on every roundabout!
EXACTLY what mine feels like. just feels so loose!
I always turn TCS off anyways i hate driving with it on!
but i touched the caliper after a couple of minute driving and it was scolding hot!
In the garage now, got the world worst courtesy car. 2003 plate ford fiesta. 0-60 in 4 gears!!!!
-
There is a lot of heat coming from the nearside front caliper,
When braking it will seriously judder at like <5mph. but when driving if i press the brake it will occasionally go straight to the floor.
my first thought was my caliper had seized on and had was causing the steering to feel odd, but surely it would be pulling to the left?
ah well, will ring the warranty company tomorrow.... wish me luck!
-
mine is always kicking in if i dont turn it off.
the drive is 10x better with it off, never drive with it on now!

So recently my 06 zed has started making a very metallic grinding noise at low speeds and tbh most speeds. Occasionally when i press the foot brake it will hit the floor and judder really hard when stopping.
Also when driving the rear almost feels disconnected, corners just feel dangerous as the car wallows about so much, definitely wasnt like this before.
Almost scared to drive it, something is really not right.
Also just had two new rears fitted (vredstein ultrac sessantra) but still feels wrong.
Any ideas before i book into nissan? Thanks

Cheers PJF! Where are you from in suffolk?

mmmmmm carbon
Looks especially good against grey/silver cars IMO
Definitely the best colour scheme for grey cars. Nothing else really looks right for me
-
Yeah i have a massive soft spot for carbon!
Its a good thing my wallet does too at the moment!
-
Thank you. Didt realise they sold them!

So here is my zed the first day i got her, fell in love straight away
As im sure everyone else did i got straight onto ordering parts.
Ordered and have now fitted:
- HKS Super hybrid panel filter
- Berks stainless induction pipe
- Smoked side indicators
- Black "Z" badge for the rear
- Pressed metal plates
- White LED bulb conversion
- Stubby aeriel
- HKS Rad cap and Nismo oil cap
The rear has also just had the 350z badge removed, nissan didnt want those to come off the glue was horrendous!
So my current plan stands at
CF bonnet vent
CF mirror caps
CF rear diffuser
CF rear spoiler
CF Front lip
Kinetix V3 racing plenum
Throttle body spacer
Remap
New HU
Coilovers, probably D2's
Wheels, unsure yet.
Thanks for reading, will keep updated
What should I expect?

Ohhhhhh! That makes much more sense!
Ah I didn't realise that!
My mate actually does remapping (Nicholas Lawrence), works up at Severn valley Motorsport in Telford!
Will get him to work on a map then thanks
