  1. Hi all,

I'm after some reasonably priced coilovers for my 2007 roadster.  I'm trying to avoid the low end un-servicable sets you can pickup these days but may end up doing so.

    Thanks

  2. Hi all,

Had an issue yesterday where my passenger window decided it didn't want to go back up.  It made the clicking noise as normal but no motor movement at all.  I searched the forum and found the handy trick of pressing the window up button while hitting below the window controls.  Very handy!  So for now the window is back up but don't really want to touch it while the weather is being typically british.  Am I right in thinking it sounds like a window motor issue?  If so can anyone recommend a supplier in the Midlands that I could collect from?

    Cheers

    Dan

  3. Absolutely loving it! Good luck with your install. Screw the stock mounting brackets on the side of the headunit, don't waste time looking at the plastic parts that come with the kit, they are not needed. Attach the kits front fascia onto the headunit before putting the centre console back together, the gear surround will push it all together at the end.

  4. The reset procedure i followed was...

    - Remove door card

    - Close the window fully (not using auto-close)

    - Close the door (or keep door sensor pressed)

    - Press & hold the motor reset button

    - Open the window fully (not using auto-open)

    - Release motor reset button

    - Open the door (or let go of door sensor)

    - Reinstall door card.

  5. Hi all,

I've noticed my passenger window is not dropping very much (maybe 2mm at most?) when opening the door. This causes the glass to catch and fold in the rubber seal which leads to a small leak when it rains. I've just ran through the reset procedure but it didn't make any difference. One thing I read after trying the reset is that the battery needs to be disconnected for 1-2mins before you do it - is this necessary? If so i might try it again while its dry. Failing that does it sound like a window motor issue?

    Thanks

    Dan
