  1. Thanks Mike, I'm not looking to spend that much and it'd be a shame for me to change the colour on a pristine set like that :)

  2. The optional extra lightweight Ray's from factory wanted.

Nothing fancy or perfect. Any colour or condition as long as big chunks aren't missing and they're not buckled :) tyres not needed.

Please PM me with your location (not too far from Manchester) and best price.

    Thanks

  3. A brand new car isn't really comparable to a 10+ year old car lol especially one with a price of less than half if the 350z was brand new too

I got hold of one anyway- 54 plate, fully standard, orange, GT pack, full history up to 2014, 75k miles for £5250

That's what I call a reasonable buy :) none of this 8k stuff haha

  4. I offered a nice chap on here £6750 against his price of £8000, his mood soon dropped. So £7000 doesn't seem to please any body!

My dads old one had a magnaflow system fitted - never heard a 350z sound so good! So that's what I'd be getting haha if I can find a damn car first!

Did you at least take him to dinner before the offer? £1250 off the list price is a big ask, unless its like a £100k+ car

I too would laugh and walk away personally.

Had some idiot chase me down when I was selling my older car, I wanted £2500 for it willing to accept low offers for an on the day sale ( ended with £2300) , he offered me £800.

Told him, no offence mate but no thanks ( inside I was trying to keep a straight face )

I've got to at least try to pull one down into my budget lol it's more than reasonable but you're right, I shouldn't bother with people that price their car that high because I'll never agree with them.

I've taken quite big losses on cars for sales and honestly didn't realise people could be so tight fisted

  6. I'm thinking of waiting until Winter to be honest, might be a good money saving method

That's a good price! How on earth did you manage to get one for that? I can't find one with less than 100k on it for much less, let alone a facelift model :p

  7. Well I've noticed garages have snapped a lot of them up now, which certainly doesn't help my case as I do private buying only!

I currently own (my second) Honda Civic Type R - it's a brilliant car and I love the thing, has Recaros, all the rare JDM bits, the top induction kit which sounds brilliant, the car is low mileage, I'm the 3rd owner and is faultess. However! The 350z bug has hit me again recently and I'm not too happy with the welcome back I've received with all the crazy asking prices.

Was hoping there'd be some good, fair priced 350z's going for sale on here but no luck as of yet, though being 23 I'm not quite the most patient person in the world :D

  8. Hi all, I'm an ex 350z owner trying to get back into ownership of one :)

Two years ago I sold my 04 plate full GT (even had the rubbish sat nav!) with 80k on the clock. I paid £5500 for that car, it really was immaculate.

It seems now I can't find anything worth having for under £8000 - is it just me, or have prices really rocketed recently as the majority were not that highly priced back then.

Is it to do with summer approaching? Is this normal?

Thanks in advance for any information :)

  9. I'm looking for a well priced, near to standard as possible (don't mind an exhaust) and under 70k miles example. Must have cruise control and leather seats. Preferably lower tax band.

Preferably Azure or ginger, but please show me what you got!

Cash waiting for the right one :)

    Thanks, Kurt

  10. Hi all, my car is completely standard and I'd love to make the exhaust louder to really show off the car's great sound.

I'd like one louder but not stupid loud. However, I need it to be as cost effective as possible - so just an unsilenced backbox should do but I'd like one with exhaust tips bigger in diameter than standard. Any suggestions of where I could look or what brand/kind offers what I'm looking for? I don't want the cars performance to be altered at all - just volume.

    Thanks, Kurt :)

  11. Here's my current car anyway! Could do with a good clean but the hose is knackered and I'm all sore from a few days spent away with the girlfriend

Welcome along to the forum, surprised no-one else commented on the above remark, but wondering if girlfriend is sore also?

Good luck finding the right Z for you.

Hahaha I didn't even mean it like that! I can't believe my awful wording there! But yes, her feet, legs and back are sore from all the walking too!

    Thanks! :)

  12. Welcome aboard. :welcome:

Please don't moan about being 22 as most of us on here are a lot older than that, ...some of the members on here probably even remember when the first motor vehicles where released. :scare::lol:

Used to have an EP3 Type R myself ~ great cars. :drive1

I was joking about the moaning about being 22 haha. Still young!

I do love my EP3 but I'm after an upgrade and to get away from the hot hatch crowd even though technically a 350z is sort of a hatchback

    Welcome to the forum.

    I'm based in Manchester too.

Had my 05 sunset zed for 9yrs so have seen a few of the common niggles.

Any questions and most of us will be glad to try and help.

    Good hunting

9 years? So that would be from new then? Is there anything that happens to these cars at certain mileage or age that you know of so I can try and avoid when buying? I know cars are cars but absolutely any advice would be greatly appreciated as I have 0 experience with anything that isn't Vauxhall or Honda :p

Thankyou all for the welcomes :)

  13. I've joined the site to see what is for sale and what the need-to-know things are in the 350z world.

It was my 22nd birthday this week (not feeling too great about it either) I thought I'd treat myself seeing as to insure a 350z would be less than a grand. Which is actually a new thing for me, I've payed up to £1900 and as low as £1325 for insurance over the years so you might see why this impresses me.

Here's my current car anyway! Could do with a good clean but the hose is knackered and I'm all sore from a few days spent away with the girlfriend.

It's only done 68k which is pretty low on these cars - only drawback is that it's a Cat D, does exactly what all the others do though that's for sure!

I'm on the lookout for a 350z, orange and GT pack with rays definitely preferred. I've been searching for a good one with less than 80k that isn't going for silly money but haven't succeeded because as soon as I find one and inquire about it they tell me it's sold. So something tells me I may be looking for a while or may have to compromise! If the money is right I'll have anything though that's just how I am - impatient haha.

So like I say - hi all and hope to meet some new people here and learn what it is that draws so many to these cars - I haven't driven one before and can't wait to experience it.
