  1. + one other recommendation - I've done on all older cars - is fit the daylight running lamps - they make a good car look new!

    great work!

doh! - just saw you have already done the lights- in fact they look better than the ones I have in mind - any hook up on WHERE to get them?

    thanks X

  3. Nostalgia ahhh.

I just love the 350z and remember buying an import (see gallery)before they ever launched in the UK.

Actually bought it off the Branch manager of a Nissan dealership who had acquired it to display on his forecourt before everyone else to attract orders, but get his wrist slapped from nissan HQ.

Loved it sooooo much (and the looks it got) so got an order in for new UK car right when they began selling the Nismo kit. And loved that soooo much too - not a fault on either and so much driving pleasure - shame this forum hadn't existed back then (back then I never saw another one on the road).

So when looking for a 'play car' while waiting on company car, and stumbled on a black 350z 2004 Monster with huge 20" wheels and full Nismo kit - what's a testosterone fuelled man to do????.

And all over again I find myself looking for those extra little bits and my PayPal balance at NIL!!! With 48 hours. Sadly the previous owner had neglected it (if there was an RSPCA for Cars- I'd have reported him!)

So 5 hours body polishing and searching everywhere for dashboard Facia bits to replaced worn and ugly old pieces - it's coming together.

Gonna wait on refurb of the wheels as my girlfriend (YES I added her to the insurance) dont hate! Needs to learn how to drive it (from Finland and used to automatics). Because if she hurt my new baby with new wheels attached - would be love over and would elope with my new 350Z

So 3rd 350 ZED beauty and am a happy man and even happier to see all the Zed owners here too. Can't wait to join a meet!

  4. Thanks for Sharing Dragon!

this is very helpful as the Z I've just bought has split rims - huge 20" but in need of TLC.

Should I expect to pay more for 'split rims'?

and yes will post some 'before' and after once done.

    thanks again
