Hi, second time zed owner but new to the forum and I must say its amazing on here and look forward to joining the next South Wales meet!

I have a few issues which are going to get sorted this month but driving around today I noticed a really bad creak in my rear suspension when reversing up hill! Can anyone advise if they have had a similar problem and how they managed to fix it? Is it just new springs or one thing more sinister???

thats my plan too, having some exhaust work done in the near future, removing a silencer so will get them cut off then!

missed out on the end, going to invest in a set of Tein springs instead i think, only thinking of changing the cats as the heat shield on my current ones are rattling!

did you buy them sharpy? I'm watching a few sets on ebay myself and wondered if you went for them or not?

Welcome aboard. You could try a PM on here to a trader called Alex who may be able to help you out with a good condition used unit for a lot less if he has one.

 

I live in Cardiff and a local independent garage that I use which I'd recommend is PantBach Auto Centre. Tel: 02920619209. They are based on Pantbach Road, Rhiwbina, Cardiff, CF14 1TW and should be able to fit the bush or banana arm for a lot cheaper than the dealers ever could. Hope that helps.

Great recommendation, spoke to Lee this afternoon and he couldn't be more helpful! unfortunately he can't source a replacement arm but will fit one for me if i can supply.

Don't know any "Zed specialists" around our area tbh unfortunately. The garage I mentioned have worked on my Zed before and the owner Lee is a trustworthy guy imo.

They are the only place locally which I tend to use (trust) but for the more specialized things I'm going to be using Horsham Developments who come highly recommended and are only about an hour or so drive for us from the Cardiff area. http://h-dev.co.uk/i...2.php?page=home

 

They're a registered trader on here too so you can always shoot them a PM to price up any work you want done etc or just give them a call.

Hi all, just picked up my second zed after a 5 year gap! Had forgotten how good they are!

Unfortunately i have just developed the dreadded knocking noise in the near side front suspension. Took it into nissan cardiff and they very kindly offered to replace the banana arm for the nice sum of £380 +VAT!!!!!!! needless to say i am trying to find an alternative solution as it seems to only be the bush that needs changing and not the whole arm?

can anyone help please?
