  1. if you are getting a sensation that feels like a missfire but no fault code i would suggest looking to see if you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

if you have an air leak after the MAF or on a Vacuum hose it can give a lumpy idle and not throw an error code.

Thanks for the reply. I will check this out over the weekend.

  2. Afternoon,

One of my favourite parts of the inside of my car is the glasses/sunglasses holder (simple things). Would you believe it, the bleddy thing broke today.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of this? I think it would mean replacing the whole light assembly it's attached to. I've had a mooch on ebay but with no joy.

    Cheers

  3. Afternoon,

I've had my Z (2003 GT 69k) a month or two now and I have notice it has a missfire when at idle. Ever so slight, I can just feel it hiccup. I took a punt on an ebay special EML327 to try and find a fault code. Nothing came up. I don't know if that is because of the equipment and app (Dashcommand) though.

I've also noticed when after having a spirited blast I can smell sulphur dioxide. Is this because of rich running, knackered CAT, the missfire or just how they smell when rather warm?

I need to narrow these things down to find the fault. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    All the best.

  4. I've just come home the wheel specialist in Cardiff, awesome job and great team of guys too. Competitive prices if you talk nicely to them and you'll get exactly the right finishrejubahy.jpg

This is exactly the look I am after on my Rays. Could I ask what colour that is?

My Z is a GM and really struggling to find a colour to go with it which wont be black or GM.

  5. Cheers fella,

I have bottomed out a few times. All rather embarrassing.

The main reason I was asking as I wanted to know what the gap from wheel to arch would look like with a 30/25 setup on standard suspension.

I've ordered a set anyway so should have them in a week or so. I will post before and after pictures.

  6. Morning,

I've been looking through the forum to find someone who has 30mm spacers on the rear, 25mm on the front, with standard suspension. I have seen the chap who put 30mm on the rear, looks great but I'm pretty sure his was lowered. Unfortunately round where I live they are quite keen on speed bumps, so can’t really go dropping the car without losing the bumper.

    I have the 18" Rays.

Any help would be great on this. Would like to order them up for the weekend.

    Cheers.

  7. Hello all, I'm Mulbers.

Bought my 2003 Gun Metal 350z GT with 68K on the clock about two weeks ago. Tis rather lovely. It has a few niggles, mainly the Scorpion exhaust rattling on the cross member. Either pull the exhaust apart and refit or shim the cross member. I have the lighter Rays wheels which will need a refurb, just need to pick a colour, any suggestions are welcome. Also need to respray the centre console as there are a few wear marks on it. All these things I'm quite happy with doing, will be nice to get hands on with a car again. Have had a 1.6 Focus for the last 7 years so my heart hasn't quite been in it.

I've played about with cars and bikes for years now. Started off with a 1990 Micra to which I fitted a locally sourced Autograss race engine into. Went drag racing a few times with that. Nothing quite as embarrassing as lining up at Santa Pod in a red Micra..... Good fun though. 16.78 seconds was the best I managed.

I haven't even had chance to wash the Z yet so will post pictures when all tidy. May even giving making a few guides a go.

    All the best
