As above from my 05 plate UK 350z gt.

The first part of this adapter kit is to enable you to use the steering wheel controls with a new stereo (was used with pioneer may work with others but not sure).

The second part is needed if changing the standard bose stereo to a new one.

Also have the facia, so basically all that's needed to upgrade the standard stereo.

are the discs still ok? as when mine were scuffing due to rust build up, they were also very worn and as such needed replacement.

Yeah just rust build up, plenty of life left in the discs themselves

Sorry for the late feedback, turns out it was a build-up of rust on the front right disc. Quick clean up with break clearer and all quiet again.

sounds like a wheel bearing to me - jack the car up, wiggle the wheel from side to side and up and down. any play, replace the wheel bearing.

 

Alternatively, how old are your front discs? mine was making a noise I could have sworn was a wheel bearing, turns ou the inside of my discs were really really worn and some rust build up was scuffing on the pads.

Hi, I have a noise coming from my front right wheel on my 350z. It sounds like there is something in the tyre tapping as I'm driving (like the noise of a stone/nail) but there isn't.

It seams worse when I turn to the left and almost stops when I turn to the right.

Any help would be appreciated.

I took my old navman apart and wired in a £4 speaker from Maplins, fitted it behind the lower dash and it worked a treat

I have just bought a tom tom to put in my cubby but the speaker is crap.

Is there a way to get it to play through my head unit?

There is no jack plug or Bluetooth on the sat nav, just the charging plug.
