  1. Make a 'To Do' list of all those little things you've been thinking of doing to the car. That normally wears me out so I put my feet up - and then it's lunchtime. After lunch (not so hungover, hopefully), go down Halfords and buy some wiper blades. Come home, fit them and then it's time for tea, X-Factor, the internet & bed. Exhausting, but necessary.
  2. Sounds like someone needs to be punished quite badly (by the courts, of course). What a cretin.
  3. You win the prize - a night out with Steve Claridge, Mark Lawrenson and Adrian Chiles.
  4. Thanks mate. Nobody's mentioned the bit of photoshopping in my car pic. Do I need to offer a prize?
  5. Hertfordshire born, Hertfordshire bred - you probably know the rest. Thanks for the welcome.
  6. Many thanks for the welcomes, guys. Looks like a nice, lively place. Now for some Lemsip, sniffle sniffle.
  7. I know how you people like photos, so here's one... Mods so far (cosmetic/minor)... Erm, front fangs & lower bumper sprayed black - Z emblems - refurb/changed colour of the 19" LMGT4's (mid grey with polished rim) - reversing camera - reversing sensors - tints - the 1p trick to help the boot open first time! - K&N panel filters - Eibach rear wheel spacers (20mm/25mm? can't remember) - sound deadening throughout boot/rear wheel arches
  8. Cheers Will - maybe we'll bump into each other one day (not literally). Dare say I'd recognise your car!
  9. Thanks for the welcome. A million apologies - forgot to mention my car. I currently have a 2010 370z, having upgraded from my lovely Ebisu 350z (56plate) 2 years ago, which in turn had replaced my Gunmetal 350z ('53 plate, bought back in 2004, soon after they'd just come out. God, I've been driving them for nearly 10 years - time flies!). So, thanks for the suggestion, but I probably won't be buying another 350z in the near future, sadly (I love them, but the interior's just too dated). The only reason I'm sticking with the 370 for now is that I'm getting old and the creature comforts of its interior suit my advancing years. Currently sitting and waiting to see what the 370z replacement will be... I'd still like to know if the guy I saw last night was local to me - he seemed to know the road and also seemed to have a similar love of Z cars.
  10. I've put the following reversing sensors on both my 370z and my campervan. They are really easy to install, they are cheap as chips (currently £14.95) and they work brilliantly (bleep when you select reverse, etc). They are proper. My 370z is silver and the silver option is a perfect colour match. Here's the ebay link to the product - REVERSING SENSORS
  11. Went out in the dark last night to try my new rear tyres. Joined the A10 at Ware, travelling north. As I came off the slip road I immediately overtook a vehicle on the dual carriageway that turned out to be a grey/silver 350z (it was dark - didn't realise it was a Z until I was going past it). He/she must have seen me too, because he increased speed and overtook me. We pootled along for a couple of miles until I had to turn around to come home, but in that short time he rekindled my love of the 350z - that car looked soo solid on the road - and its acceleration matched mine easily. Don't know if it was a stock car or tuned, but it was an '04. Really nice motor. If only Nissan had improved the interior of the 350z I'd still have one. Was it you?
  12. 21, rear wheel drive, wet weather, '04 Z - be gentle with your right foot on corners and roundabouts.
