  1. Lolz, that's my old road growing up as a kid. I saw it on his drive other day when I was on the push-bike. Should organise a lil meet for sure.

Which area works best? I hate to say it but Bluewater could be an option, but somewhere a little more street could be better to get some nice pics of the motors too.

  2. Nice idea, am interested in a exterior set please!

Those blasted amber indicators are driving me nuts. Keep buying the wrong silvertech bulb sets to replace them and trying so hard to squeeze the bulbs in the wrong holes the silver comes off. Grrr... its not annoying at all... arghhhhhhhh

  3. Hi,

Been sneaking around the forum for the past erm... 3 weeks. I was looking a Zed to buy to up my 'street cred' and replace my 2003 blobeye impreza STI PPP.

Anyhow, it was a great great car but for some strange reason everyone wanted to race me and my mates (lads and lasses) didn't really want to get in my car...

Always like Zeds, was going to get one after the Civic Type R (EP3), just ended up with a Scoob after getting annoyed being stuck in the snow during our latest winters. But now... well.. I bought a GT4 (Black, LMGT 19" rims) - the one below, from a great guy called Paras

Got to admit my first impressions of owning the car have not been great. I mean it looks fantastic, but shortly after owning her 'Mary Jane', the EML came on. Some P1147 error code relating to a rear O2 sensor. Took it to Abbey motor sports, turns out a remap (Uprev) can blank that error. Also discovered that one of the engine fans is on its way out (no low speed and high speed is pretty knackered). Car seems to be running a bit slow too. Not comparing it to the impreza but it should have a similar pickup to the civic but I am struggling keeping up with VW Polos! No doubt Abbey will fix this.

Lastly, MJ's rear boot struts gave way on me the other day and almost knocked me out when I was putting the gym bag in the boot... GRRR...Not good

So where am I now... well... its all kinda being sorted. I have since adjusted the clutch bite and now broken something as the clutch get stuck halfway up. ZMAN on the forum is sorting me out with some bits to fix, Abbey are fixing other bits, and a body shop is sorting my stone chips rust bits and other misc.

Right, enough about the car.. I came here to introduce myself. My name is Jodi (please refer to me as Joe in person - I am a bloke ftr). I live in Orpington, work in IT (for the NHS) and am currently spending my house deposit on my car :). Not married, no kids, no dog, no lovely lady in tow (yet). In my spare time mostly in the gym (not that you could tell).

So today, I joined you fellow Zed owners for the Grasshopper meet. Chatted about car stuffs with some top people, saw some very smart cars (of course I am referring to the Astons... not) and saw the lovely Katy! All in all, great morning/early afternoon. Wasn't sure what to expect, most of you seem pretty normally 2 eyes, nose, mouths, speak english.. Well about 80% of you at least :)

Hope to be posting some more around the forum, coming to some more meets, getting my Zed sorted and doing a few mods (Mrev2?)

Anyhow, thats me, thats a brief (who would have thought) overview of stuffs my day and blah!

@ Ryan (username unknown sorry) that K1 exhaust I think has given me permanent ear damage! LoL! Dont ask a guy running decats and a K1 to listen to the sound of the engine/exhaust setup whilst standing behind his motor. Apparently it still had the baffles in!! I almost sh!t myself.. damn good soundtrack though.
