  1. Hi all

Got a small area of rust just on my wheel arch. Looks like a car has scraped it to be honest :|

I am wondering if this is something that is relatively straightforward tosort myself?

If not how much am i looking at to be done professionally?

    Pic attached :(

  2. I made the change from EP3 type r to 350z a couple of months back.

Can honestly say the MPG doesnt differ that much- long as you use cruise control for longer journeys!

I found tyres not too much more pricey either- about £150 per corner on type r, and have seen prices around £200 per corner for the 350 (for decent tyres of course)

Most importantly- Ive never looked back! Youll love the V6 grumble even compared to the VTec howl and its a decent power boost ;)

    Tax sucks though....

  3. Sounds like you need a inline booster dude, checked the pinned thread in ICE section

Sounds like it could be that! However, the link is dead and I can only seem to find the line booster in the US. Does anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK?

Time for the RCA splice routine

Could be! Do you have any further info on this?!

    Thanks in advance!

  4. Hi all

Today I started the process of removing my BOSE HU to refit with a Sony CTX-GT55OUI. Ive bought all necessary adapters plus the lead to keep the steering controls. When I wired it in to test, the sound was only coming out of some of the speakers (sounded like the 2 door speakers) and also the sub. The volume was very quiet on all of these though!

I'm not too hot with wirings etc so does anyone have any ideas? Ive seen similar problems in other topics i.e no sound but there is definitely sound, just very quiet.....

Ive only ever swapped the head unit in my old Civic before and that was as straightforward as plugging in the wiring harness!

Any help would be very much appreciated :)
