  1. I have no issue with my current brake set-up. The braking performance is great but have noticed a performance dip in the last month. When I stop currently the car jerks as the pads stick rather then slowing to a halt.

Do any trader on here stock the Akebono pads?

  2. Hi all

I know this sort question as been asked a hundred times but I couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

    Its 3 questions

    1. What are the stock pads and discs, I presumed they are Brembo but looking a other topic this ay be incorrect.

    2. Local garage have said they will fit any pads I want but stock Apex. Apex good enough?

    3. Suggestions of what pads I should use.

The car is used as a daily driver an the occasionally spirited drive. The car is a 2011 370Z GT no modifications.

    Thanks for the help

  3. I would like some help/advice please.

I want to have a reversing camera and parking sensors added to my 370Z. It's a 2011 plate, so I have connect premium which the first tick in the box.

I will be having these installed by the garage my cars have always gone to.

However I will be supplying the main components. I don't want to spend a fortune. I'd like to keep to my £600 budget for both, no including labour.

So please can you tell me what camera kit to buy and where from and same for parking sensors?

I know the reversing camera is an easy install due to it being an extra. Is it the same story for the parking sensors apart from the holes that will need cutting in my bumpers?

  5. I been to my local garage about new pads for my 2011 370Z GT they have suggest Apex pads.

Is a good suggestion or am better staying with OEM parts which I though were Brembo's?

  6. I've read all above rules etc.

They do seem common sense, any body wanting to race, go fast need to look for track days.

This is just a group of like minded individuals going for a drive. To share there interest and have an enjoyable day.

Sort of sums it up. Just use common sense on the road like every other day.

  7. Is there a advantage, I believe they don't bulge as much as rubber lines under pressure but it marginal. So is there a point to changing my lines? I don't use the car on track.

I also wondering about silicon hoses, I know they last longer but is there any other advantage?

  8. Has anyone bought tyres from them. I need new tyres all round/ I have a price of £830 for Michelin Super Sports from them. It seems very low compared to everywhere else?

  9. Not Sure if is the right section, sorry if it isn't :surrender:. My 370z logo on my mats are not as white as they could be. Over the weekend I tried various products to try and get them white but nothing seem to work. Does anyone have any advice or name a product/process?

  10. I agree the 370z is a great car and quick in any direction you decide to point it. I love it.

I just looking at my options. I do like the idea of having a supercharged or twin turbo car.

I want to know I have more power and could the new Caymen S and new S3 maybe even something a lot more expensive then 370z

But I have a budget of £5000 and my 370Z is automatic so what the best way to get a good gain without loads of work because I would have to pay someone to fit it?

  11. If you get the auto box then snow isn't a problem as long as you don't plant you foot. Plant your food to early in the wet and back end will step out to tell you to stop driving like a prat.
