  1. The time has come for me to part with my 350Z, only selling as I fancy a jap turbo again, will be missed such a reliable car and heaps of fun!

Here I have for sale my 2003 Nissan 350z GT in Kuro Black. It currently has MOT until mid September and is taxed until the end of October.

I have owned the car for around a year now and it has been absolutely faultless and I have loved every minute of owning it. It turns heads everywhere it goes and the 3.5 V6 pulls nice and strong and is very reliable with a lovely engine note.

Being a UK GT spec it comes with all the goodies which are all in great working condition, sat nav, electric heated leather seats, Bose sound system, Xenon headlights, steering wheel controls, cruise control, Brembo brakes, Rays alloys etc.

For its age the car is in great condition, the alloys are all in very good nick with plenty of life on the tyres. Inside and out the car is very clean bar a few stonechips.

The mileage is at 101,000 but the car has had a very easy life first having a lady owner, then a doctor followed by myself, being mainly used on the motorway. Engine, gearbox and clutch are all nice and tight no slips knocks or bangs.

It has a full service history up until 85,000 miles and I purchased it at just over 90,000 and done it myself shortly after buying it. It has always been run on premium unleaded as it was by its last owner previous to me.

I have all the original booklets and some CD's from Nissan along with the service history, manuals etc.

Since owning it I have replaced the old original exhaust system (due to corrosion and an exhaust blow) for a true dual stainless steel system from the cats back, fitted with new gaskets and bolts. This is an oem style system, nice and quiet and subtle but sounds very nice in the higher revs. I have also colour coded some parts in the engine bay and replaced the original ariel for a stubby one.

I also had the spoiler taken off the boot and had it smoothed and then carbon wrapped. This was personal preferance and can be removed if needed, the boot is smooth underneath and ready for paint if wished or simply swapped for another black rear hatch. The headunit has also been replaced with an Alpine touchscreen double din that can be remote controlled and is also linked to the steering wheel controls with Bluetooth connectivity and an iPod connection run through to the drivers cubby.

    Bad Points:

The passenger window can be temperamental. It didn't work when I first purchased the car so I took it apart and gave it a clean which appeared to resolve the issue for a little while but it can still have its moments. Very common issue with 350z's.

There are a few little stonechips and minor blemishes as you can imagine with a 10 year old car, not very noticeable.

Price wise I am looking for £5,095 ONO. Contact me on 07825128850 or via email. Located in Fareham Hampshire, any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

  2. I don't think that's awful driving skill is it considering BMW 335D and Audi 3.0 TDI's have more power stock these days and will see a lot more with a simple remap with a @*!# ton of torque? They are very common on the road these days and no the Z isn't a fast car, it's quick-ish not fast.

  3. I'm not sure that they are interchangeable, plugs are different colours (green and blue I think) O2 sensors can get cooked without spacers when using decats but often lambda sensor faults get thrown up for fun. I'd get the spacers in reset the code, disconnect the battery overnight, connect it back up and let it idle for 15-20 mins before you drive it. Has often done the trick for me as it helps wipe the ecu memory of the fault as opposed to resetting it.

  4. They can be within tolerance but that doesn't mean its 0' camber or toe etc. just close. The stock arms give bugger all adjustment, say you have spacers, different wheels or hit a pot hole it can have a big affect. Recently went with a member on the forum to get an alignment and he could only pull the stock arms in from 3.5 degrees to 2.5 degrees camber which is still loads! He went back the next week with adjustable arms on the rear and got it sorted :)

  5. I think out of all the cars you listed there I would only consider the S2000 but even then I've had an EP3 with the similar K20 engine and you had to drive the tits off it to get it to go anywhere! My old man had one when they first came out and they are very low and stiff in stock form too. 350Z makes a great daily, big, comfy, decent power and not to mention the looks and noise they make!
