Hi!
I've got a feeling I followed the same Black Z out of Saffron Walden around that time - AND I think you must have come up behind me in Buntingford - gave you a wave out the window when I turned off :-)
-
It would definitely bond to it - it sticks to just about anything. Check this video I found which will give a demo of what it might look like and the process:
Obviously, if you don't like it, just peel it off :-)

Yup! Pretend its real paint and you can't go wrong

It's cool stuff - best way to describe it I suppose is "rubber paint". You spray it on as if you would normally from a paint canister, doing very minimal prep work before hand (just cleaning and masking off areas). Then apply several coats , the stuff dry's really fast. It then just peels and breaks away from any lines as the coat is thinner here. And if you get bored of it - you can just peel it off at a later date to return to stock. Here's a video that probably explains its better:
I've currently got my front badge and door handles done - its been on for about 1 year now with no wear.

Torque Solution Transmission Mount
Applications: 2003-2009 Nissan 350z
Purchased this from octet about a month ago but never got round to fitting it and probably won't now, so is once again up for grabs!
Looking for £80 delivered. Or £70 Collected (CB11)
Nabbed from octets original advert
Used for less than 1000 miles, as new!
This mount replaces existing OEM transmission mount. The transmission mount is made out of high grade billet aluminum material with urethane material for the bushings. With the addition of this mount you will see and feel an improvement with wheel hop being reduced and better traction. This mount will also aid in chassis stability allowing faster lap times with less transmission slop in the drive line. You will notice much more precise shifting in on/off throttle situations like in Road Racing & Autocross..
-Reduces wheel hop / traction loss
-Improved 60fts / e.t's
-Made out of lightweight 6061-T6 billet aluminum
-Street and track torture tested
-Black anodized / Torque Solution Laser engraved
-75A durometer bushings
-LifeTime Warranty
-Made in USA
Any questions PM away!

As promised I thought I would post up a couple of pics of the latest bits I've purchased from Steve - the Z has undergone a long needed wash and full clay so is in a presentable state

Also bought these from Steve as a "trinket" - never realised they were a genuine Nissan part which made a nice treat! Anyway, they look nice and are well finished as you would expect, pictures to follow http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58646-redline-styling-customer-photos/
Cheers Steve!
