  1. Well time came to move on. Sold the Zed to the first person to see it. Really nice guy, I'm sure he'll look after it. A big thank you to everyone on this forum for their help and all the people I've met at various meets.

  2. For sale is our 2005 UK 350Z GT4 No.80.

The wheels are mint and body work is amazing for a 8year old car, always washed using 2 bucket method by myself and regularly detailed.

The popular 19†Nismo LMGT4 wheels are worth quite a bit on their own. They were refurbished last year by Spit and Polish in Tonbridge and have been restored with their original diamond cut lip finish. Also fitted were some alloy gators to prevent any curbing. They are regularly coated with Poorboys wheel sealent.

Tyres are Falken 452s all round all replaced 1 year ago with lots of tread remaining all round.

Mechanically, the car has only been looked after by Abbey Motorsport in Oxted by myself and the previous 2 owners. I wouldn't take it anywhere else! It is only run on Shell V-Power and drives absolutely faultlessly.

The stereo system has been upgraded to:

    Alpine CDA-105Ri Head-Unit with iPod/USB connectivity

    Alpine steering wheel interface

    Genesis Audiophile 16.03 Components

    Genesis Audiophile 25.01

10" Subwoofer Sealed sub enclosure from 'zenclosures in the boot

    JBL Amp

    Stubby Aerial

It's the lower road tax bracket of £260 per year.

As you may know, the GT4 was a limited edition run of 176 cars (100 in black, 76 in yellow) of the 350z with the 300hp Rev up enigine.

The Rev up engine can have a problem with excessive oil consumption.

In June 2010 it had an enigine rebuild, due to a previous owner letting the oil run low, at Abbey Motorsport at a cost of £4078.86 (receipt included) at 31,237 miles. The engine is now spot on with no oil consumption and was recently dyno-ed at Abbey and produced very good BHP compared to other rev-up Zeds there on the day.

The car has had 4 previous owners one of whom was also on this forum (ms8qt).

I've recently had the front bumper resprayed as it was stone chipped (common problem on these) and have pics before and after it was done.

It has a genuine Nismo V1 rear spoiler, a Zunsport front grill and black front reflectors.

There is no previous accident damage on the car. Included are all 3 keys including the master key.

The car also has uprated Ferodo DS2500 brake pads and DBA 4000 series discs.

The drive shafts have also been sorted so make no noises (again another common fault on the 350z)

The major P3 service was done in April 2012 at which point the Compression (banana) arms were replaced (another common issue). Also last year, the plugs were replaced with OEM NGK platinum plugs and 4 wheel alignment was done.

The last service was a P1 on 20/04/13 and will be due it's next service (P2) in April 2014. A well documented full service history is present.

Road tax runs out 30/04/14 and MOT 26/04/14. It is currently on 49,500 miles however this may increase slightly with daily use.

The car has a JWT popcharger intake and a well fitting Japspeed K2 exhaust (only slightly louder than OEM, makes a good noise - not too loud!)

The GT4 has everything the GT has: Cuise control, electric leather seats, electric folding mirror etc...

The only reason it’s for sale is because my wife and I have baby on the way.

I’m looking for £9500 (forum price) no offers please. I know this may seem like the top end for a 8year old Zed but this is a genuine well sorted, limited edition car in excellent order which needs nothing doing. It is ready to go for the next owner to enjoy!

    Thanks for reading

  3. So that brings us up to date till today when I dropped the Zed to the body shop:

    Photo09-06-2013101911AM.jpg

It's in to get the front bumper resprayed and to get black reflectors + Zunsport grill fitted. As can be seen, the front bumper is quite stone chipped:

The chrome grill stickers are coming off, and together with the new zunsport grill and black reflectors, I'm hoping will look a bit fresher. Also getting rid of the nismo front decal!

  4. Just after the wheels were done, I decided to get some alloy gators (http://www.alloygator.co.uk/) fitted to protect the diamond cut lips as I knew any kerbs would eventually cause corrosion. They were fitted by at Wheel Power Alignment in Brockley who did a good job with them.

The alloy gators are the black lip around the wheels and they really do work well. The lips together with using Poorboys wheel sealant has really help keep the wheels mint

  5. The 3rd job on my list was to get the wheels sorted. The LMGT4s had seen better days. The fronts weren't too bad, but the rears had some kerbing and quite of bit of bubbling under the lacquer:

So off they went to spit and polish in Tonbridge and when they came back, wow, what a difference! Stuck with the same OEM colour with the diamond cut polish lip

  6. Next job was getting the seats sorted thanks the Peter aka 4RE Leather

There was no rips or tears but just some wear:

    After Peter worked his magic:

The seats now look like they should, very happy with how they came out

  7. Had the Zed for just over 1 year and after seeing a few other members build threads on here, I thought I would post my car up. However it's more of a tidy up thread than a build one!

    IMGP5931.jpg

First job I did was to replace the pretty tired looking front Zed badge:

    Looked much better after:

  8. The poorboys stuff is excellent. While the wheels were off, I left a coat on overnight before removing and then for 20min the next day. It lasted a few months! Reapplied only once over the last 6months and still seems good. Use only water and diluted car shampoo to clean the wheels inbetween and it lasts ages. Also, because it's pink, you can easily see if you've left some behind

  9. i got my kit from EP Racing last august, good price but the front bumper and sideskirts needed fettling to fit but got there in the end. looks pretty good too:

  11. The DC2 is a legendary car. I had one for 7years before getting the zed and used it everyday. It's a car that really makes you want to drive harder and inspires a lot of confidence. Did a few track days in it and it was spot on. I might also buy another one at some point in the future just for weekends and track days!

This is it when it was for sale:
