recently i have been trying to change the colour of my z without breaking the bank. i tried using vinyl wrap which worked quite well but iv gone off the idea since spending several hours wrapping my bonnet only to find the vinyl had a small tare right in the middle, which really pi**ed me off!!!

iv came across plasti dip on voutube (www.cardipuk.com or www.dipyourcar.com) i was just wondering if any one has tried it, and do you need to be a pro painter to get it to look right?

took the zed to york dragstrip on sunday. after a few dissapointing runs i decided to up my game making small, onsite mods. first was to decrece tyre pressure in rear wheels from 34psi (no idea what its actually meant to be at) down to 30. i went on to set my best run of 14.4 for a 1/4 mile. then i emptied the car of everything (including mats lol) and took the pressure in the rear tyres down further to 27psi. however for the rest of the days runs i couldn't touch my best time. any 1 know any good tips to push up performance on the day? short of ripping out the whole car and fitting a million squillion turbos lol. cheers

Northeast MotorFest. how come nobody has been talking about going?

can anybody tell me why there are 2 styles of number plate holders on the 350z's rear bumper. iv looked on the net and i know there was a change during 2006, but i theres nothing that says about the plate style. for example my bumper is designed for a rectangular plate, however there are bumpers out there for more square(ish) plates.

I'm just curious really.

i regularly travel between scotland (helensburgh) and newcastle and was wondering if anybody knows of any meets or modified car clubs in either areas.

im realy intrested in getting my car into some club displays at car shows (although its not very modified yet lol)
