Thanks again to steve, job was made easy by using your description’s Jacked the car up & removed the under tray it’s a easy job once this is removed, I also removed the plastic top cover just to make it easier getting your arms down to feed the belt’s around, I had to loosen the top anti roll bar to lift the plastic cover out, you need the extra lift because the bolt is under the bar,
I checked all the pulley wheels & made sure they were all well lubricated car sounds a lot quieter now, having said that I was shocked to find that the A C Belt which should be a 4 groove was only 2 grooves! The rest of the belt had shredded it’s self I found some slithers in behind 2 pulley wheels,
The full job complete & all tools away took me 70 minutes & that was including rubbing 2 small areas of flaking rust off where the under tray screws to the car, I used some under sealant to protect the sub frame.
The belts were from A & B auto spares in Whitehaven at a cost of £27:47p labour was free & very rewarding when you listen to it ticking over now.
-
Just read through the info posted, I'M going to change my belts tomorrow, got the Gates belts from A & B auto spares in Whitehaven for £27:47p I'M sure with the perfect description from Stev I can do this job & save a few ££££££

Just changed the side light bulbs for the LED's they match the headlights better now,
To change them I started the car & turned full lock then undo 1 screw first one up from the front, then carefully push the inner plastic arch & get your hand behind it then pull it out so you can get your hand in, it's quite tight but even with big hands it's still possible to do, a slight twist of the light housing & it comes loose, just pull the holder out & change the light ensure you push it all the way in to prevent it dropping out, then locate the fitting & a little twist & it's back in place, now push the plastic inner arch back into place & replace the screw, now start the car & turn the lock to the other side & repeat,
One last thing to do before fastening when you have changed the bulbs just switch your side lights on to ensure you have it in the right way round, it's possible that the LED will only work in one way!
Happy days a nice little touch
-
Congratulations on your wedding in December , We had the afternoon tea & just sat a little longer in the tea room, there was a open fire on which was quite nice, we didn't manage to eat everything that was brought out for us so we asked them to box it up & take it with us for my kids, they made short work of it all
The only thing bad was the roads leading to winder hall which are in quite bad condition exaggerated by the suspention on the 350z, it's difficult when you have the wife in the car trying to drive like a shofer
-
www.winderhall.co.uk/contact-us It was a treat from a friend of ours for our anniversary 22 years
-
I changed my indicator bulbs as soon as I got the car 3 weeks ago, as quoted it's tight but take your time & it can be done from the top, I'M just about to change the side lights for the LED's I'M glad someone said you can get at them through the inner wing plastic covers I didn't fancy taking bumpers off just to change the bulbs,
-
Hi there,
I think it was me you waved at I was to busy looking at your car coming towards me I didn't wave back, I'M Sorry about that mate, I was in with my wife we were going for high tea in Lorton, Birthday & Anniversary just the day before.
It was a perfect day to be seen in the Z,
-
I'M new to the owners club I understand the feeling of wanting to drive it, I'M glad I live 10 miles from work & the roads are quiet B roads I can't wait to go to work & then I can't wait until I finish work, as soon as I got the car I detailed & waxed it just to put my stamp on it, then you know it's yours Totally standard when I got it 2 week ago, only thing I have done is a K&N panel filter & running octane boost when filling up with super unleaded, I'M just loving the 350z ownership I have a soft spot for the Nissans, years ago I went through 4 different Silvia Turbo's Blue, White, Black, Red. I had a 300zx Turbo & 2 200sx but this is by far the best of them all

After looking at different spoilers I quite liked this one, It's for a Toyota Celica GT, I saw a picture of one fitted on a Roadster in America, got it off ebay price was good, I will be getting it sprayed next week then I will post another picture when it's all done, this picture is just to see what it could look like, still havent picked the fixing point yet.
