I sold a at c 350z. Had a crease in rear quarter which had it written off. I had it repaired and sold it.
I to had before and after pics. It sold on eBay for £3750 when similar models mileage etc where still £6000
This won't sell at that price.

very difficult to value. wat would you be happy with for it
-
yeh, ill get a video up. it sounds like a loud clutxh release bearing but im confident its theshaft bearing
-
right. my 03 z on 93000 miles needs the main shaft bearing changing as its making a racket when in neutral with the clutch out.
is this a hard job?
anybody got any idea of price wise from a transmission place or a guide to do it?
thanks

heat soak isnt really an issue on intercooled cars so cant see it making a huge difference but looks god none the less

HI im a new member from sunderland.
This is my second newbi thread as i had 1 a few months ago humming and harring about selling my 182 to buy a 350z.
well i had a blue 182 and i was going to seel it ad buy a 350z
i got rid of the 182 and ended up buying this
Its a ltd edition clio 182 trophy if your not into french hatched, its currently forsale as i purchased this a few weeks ago
a 350z fairlady very light rear end damage registered as a cat C, had it down to my local bodyshop to have it repaired and the work is second to none.
plans are probably a set of rota grids or similar an inlet spacer and probably a map,
not bad for a 19 yearold
thanks

Why I'd that? And my previous message was supposed to say I'm on my iPhone. Query basically is is the vic process the same for an imported car
-
No link as I'm on eBay.
Type in 350z salvage in eBay. It's orange. It'd about 3500 I'd imagine. It's orange. Ive had loads of cat cars. Doesn't bother me

Hi. I'm currently looking at a cat c import z
It's. 2002 registered In the uk in 2003. It has a private plate of elz2997 but doesn't come with the sale. Im waiting for a reply about which plate it will have. The private plate is not found by hpi.
If it has the plate it was registered with I. 2003 is the vic check procedure the same as any other car or will it cause problems being an import

lol at the above. a 182 will return 40mpg if drive seneibly but i do limited milage so im prepared for the drop

In the real world speed isn't everything
did i not say i track my car and wanted to no peoples oppinions rather than book figures. thanks
-
I'm probably going to go for a 350z I'm not bothered about lap times along as you can still have fun in the z. I'd imagine it would still have the edge on a straight. I'd hate to upgrade and then to be overtaken on a straight by a Clio lol. Thanks fo the opinions
-
to get a clio to 200bhp take itb/s or very wild cams which is between £2-4K theres alot of claimed 200bhp clio's but very few proven ones so id take that with a pinch of salt unless it ha a lot of engine work
-
so the zeds slower through the corners but will catch up on the streights.
i dont mind about lap times just wouldnt want to lose out on the fun factor. obviously the Z has rwd which can be fun in its self to be honest

hi. im looking to move up to a 350z from a clio 182 in the next few weeks.
the 350z is obviously a better made / more refined / more powerfull car etc but i do a few trackdays in the clio and its a very capable car for what it is.
when i do buy a 350 will i be disapointed with its performance? its obvious more powerfull but id imagine it will be alot heavier giving it a similar power to weight ratio to the clio.
anybody moved from a hot hatch to a Z and what was your oppinions.
thanks
-
quite enjoyed that

thanks for the welcome lads.

hi im a newbie from the northeast looking for a 350z
ive been interested in the jap scene for a while but been 19 i initialy thought civics etc would only be affordale due to insurance etc but i was wrong.
currently drive this http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthre ... el-content a renault sport clio 182, spoke to my insurance company today who want an extra £150 for a 350Z which is the next level compared to civics etc.
ill habe about 6-7k to spend but dont really need to spend it all. ill be looking for around an 03-04 with average miles. possibly even a cat c/d if one comes up at a reasonable price.
anything i should be looking out for or does anybody no of any bargains forsale?

Difference between cat c and d depends on how the assessor feels in the day. But anyway my car was a lot lighter damage than yours.
Just trying to get across the fact that people where only prepared to pay around 60% of the cars pre accident value.
