  1. I'd also recommend uploading your photos to photbucket, then putting the embed links into the advert. The attachments lose a bit of quality and most car adverts on here get more attention if you can simply scroll down to see all the pictures. There is a FAQ on using photobucket, if you're struggling send me a PM.
  2. I find a neutral snow foam is great to use in between cleans, i.e. during the week. I'm quite anal with my car cleaning so spend a few hours most weekends doing my or someone else's car. However during the week when I come home and the car is a bit dirty I just rinse, snow foam, rinse and dry. This technique is not recommended if your car is dirty, as the snow foam won't remove the major dirt. I stress neutral and rinse (not pressure wash) as you'll strip your wax off.
  3. I can confirm the GT4 has the same thread as any 350z. What that is I'm not sure, but it's the same!
  4. Saw this today and thought I'd post it up as it's such a bargain. £6k, 1 Owner, 22k on the clock, FSH, 6 months warranty from a dealer in Staffordshire http://goo.gl/bhEUMi
  5. Not sure how you could tell, it wasn't raining in any of their photos
  6. I actually replaced them with new BMW emblems, I knew it would raise mixed opinions, probably why I did it I didn't say anything negative, was just enquiring
  7. Look really good. You got any centre cap options, or you happy with the BMW logo?
  8. Hi, I am looking for a set of the above to fit these Calibre GTR Gunmetal Alloys - http://goo.gl/BRNB0L If you can do these, could you give me the colour options? Thanks, Ewan
  9. Yeah I noticed they have the same bolt fitting. Wish I'd taken my Volk TE37's off my 350z now!
  10. Thanks for the replies. I now have a better understanding of all the numbers! To clarify: Current Tyres Front - 245/40/19 (wheel width range 8 - 9.5) Rear - 285/35/19 (wheel width range 9.5 - 11) Current Wheels Offset - 45 Front - 19 x 8 Read - 19 x 9.5 Desired Wheels Offset - 35 Front - 19 x 8.5 Rear - 19 x 9.5 Using an online calculator (as suggested above) these are the differences: Front - Inner Clearance: 4mm MORE, Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 16mm Rear - Inner Clearance: 10mm MORE Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 10mm Does anyone know if these differences will be a problem? From the reading I've done, all the S197 Mustangs (05-10) will take the same wheels, the only difference being the GT and other high spec models have bigger brakes. I have the standard V6 Mustang, which has smaller brakes so I guess I am some leeway on the inside?
  11. That's the nicest way I've ever been told I'm wrong before
  12. Citizens advice bureau should be able to advise
  13. Great, cheers. I'm confused as my current wheels are only available in 8.0 or 9.5 and my current tyres are 285 wide, according to that chart they shouldn't fit. Or is this just saying you shouldn't be running that setup?
  14. Thanks, but I can't really read that given the formatting. Could you link me to the website you got that from?
  15. Hi guys, Let me apologise for A) A noob question, I have done a lot of research but I am still unsure about the whole tyre/wheel setup. Asking questions not about a 350z, but a Mustang. I have posted this in off-topic for this reason. This is just such a knowledgeable forum I was hoping someone could answer my questions. Background I have just imported an s197 2007 V6, the wheels are chromed but have really bad corrosion. I have showed them to a couple of specialists and in order for them to be repaired they need de-chromed and then powdercoated/painted. I want them in a gunmetal type colour - this is going to cost upwards of £350 and even then they cannot guarantee me a good finish due to level of corrosion. The tyres are all brand new so I want to keep them. I have decided getting a new set of alloys in my desired colour. Details Tyres - Toyo PROXES TR1 Front - 245/40 ZR19 - http://goo.gl/HmtQgq Rear - 285/35 ZR19 - http://goo.gl/nkOPKv Wheels 19" AT-326 Wraith - http://goo.gl/nyGdZ1 I am unsure of the specific details, but from the research I've done I think they are the one or both of the following. 8.0 5x114.3 - http://goo.gl/6olPQM 9.5 5x114.3 - http://goo.gl/idwBSF Does the 8.0 / 9.5 relate to tyre sizes? Is it possible (or definite) I have different sized alloys given that I have different width tyres? Will I be able to see the exact measurement (including offset) if I take the wheels off? What Wheel Options Do I Have? I have seen these wheels which are reasonably priced and in a good colour. Calibre GTR - http://goo.gl/BRNB0L As you can see from the link they are 8.5 on the front, will these still fit, given that my current wheel is 8.0 (I think)? Also on the link the tyre options for this wheel are 245/45 front and 275/40. Can anyone explain to me why this is? From google I got the following information, is this accurate? If the offset of my desired wheels is 35 (I presume this is what ET35 means?) and by standard it is 45, what does this mean? Center Bore - 70.3 Offset - 45 Mounting 1/2 Thanks!
  16. I can't see any reference to "Volk" in the wheels, Dotz appears to be the brand.
  17. I don't think they are Volk (i.e. not Rays) unless I am missing something - http://goo.gl/FgNJdE
