  1. Just fitted the x2600bt. It's the basics model, but a great bit of kit. The equaliser greatly improves the sound quality compared to the Bose. I basically set a budget and looked at YouTube reviews. Good luck
  2. I'm already missing the steering wheel controls lol
  3. So what do you guys think the issue could be with the steering wheel controls?
  4. I have all the cables from incartec. I'm a bit loathed to Do the buster mod, don't want to fry the amp or speakers lol
  5. Didn't go great. Paid someone to install. He allegedly installed the steering wheel control, yet it doesn't work. Further to that, I have the dreaded reduced sound defect. Happy with the units functionality, and it does modernise the dash. But I'm going to have to pay even more money to correct this now. Also, can't remember what cable to buy for my note 2 to get app radio working. Over to google.
  6. Got the dash out Ok but the unit didn't power up. Think I need to splice the connections. Going to pay someone to do it instead now.
  7. I'm finally installing my double din tonight. Aside from following this guide, can anyone offer any advice? It's a Pioneer avh 2600bt. www.350z-uk.com/topic/56249-just-installed-jvc-hu-wiring-pics-to-help-others/ Cheers
  8. Interesting article on PH. Thoughts? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1060863&mid=376961&i=0&nmt=Why+hasn%27t+the+370z+worked%3F&mid=376961
  9. I agree with the op. Z owners I've seen haven't even thanked me for giving them way let alone friendly acknowledged
  10. Keyser did ask if it was overpriced hence my comment. I completely respect and adhere to the rules. Post edited
  11. Cool story bro At least give a bit more context as to why you'd use them.
  12. I have a scorpion, comes alive over 3k, those in the link a bargains. If you want a deeper sound, you may need to decat
  13. Maybe break and return to stock. Might get more bang for your buck.
  14. I'm surprised that lasted through the night. Would have taken these but just had to pay for a stah doo. Good luck op sure these will sell easily.
  15. You're a bargain master. You'll only get ep3s for the money you paid for the fn2 in London.
  16. That's a bargain. Even if you replaced the clutch, you've done done very well. Enjoy the car, most be a massively different drive to the FN2. Lots of low down torque, compared to revving the nuts off the Type R. How do they compare?
  17. Personally I'd go with the Cayman. One of the best sports car available, with a perfect chassis. You're obviously going to get biased advice here. Go test drive all, weigh up the pros and cons thorn come back here when you decide. All the best, all great cars, and a great "predicament" to have.
  18. Shows that the Z is not an inherently great track weapon. Impressed by the S2000
  19. Windsor apparently has really nice roads.
  20. I'm impressed as J17 don't have the best of reputations. Glad you got it sorted.
  21. Yeah variable valve timing etc. Good luck op. I would be inclined to talk to trading standards and citizens advice to know where I legally stand, then speak to J17.
  22. You've been had. Dealers aren't too clued up on the Z. Two I viewed weren't advertised as GT, when they were. Not sure what your consumer rights are, maybe contact citizens advice
  23. I notice people get incredible results at TDI I'm assuming that their dyno is fairly optimistic compared to Horsham and Abbey.i understand 300 on a DE is very difficult.
