  1. Hi everyone,

I have just bought my 1st ZED and couldn't be happier with it. What a great car!! Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the South East area, preferably Canterbury or Whitstable please? The car came with 18 months warranty and the Clutch pedal has got stuck down a couple of times. I did read on another forum that replacing the Slave Cylinder, replacing hose with a braided one and using high temp fluid can solve this as the Cylinder is by the exhaust which may explain why this has only happened when the engine's hot? Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks all,

    Mark

Kaizer Motors is your man, Medway in Kent, I cross the bridge from Essex for my service from him and I cannot be more happier. Sure others travel further for some Kaizer love!

You're right, I had the same issue and replaced the slave cylinder when I first bought mine a few years ago, sadly didn't spot it when I bought it (second hand private), but that was run cold.

  2. My Zed was the first one i looked at, everything checked out, the price was right so didnt feel the need to continue the search. You do hear countless stories of people looking at dogs, so if you find one that fits the bill, buy it :)

On the other hand, i just changed my daily, i looked at three, the fourth was right so bought it :)

Just like me funnily enough, it was the first Zed I really look at (underneath, engine bay, etc) and bought it.. Thankfully not a lemon!

On the Semi Auto front, if I stayed in London any longer than I was, I really would have traded in my Zed for an Auto.. stop start traffic on non-flat roads were tiring to say the least..

  3. Thanks all..

My first "mod".. LED licence plate lights, one of them was already broken so had to be replaced, as other people say, really nice addition to the car!

However, can anyone tell me what this bar is please? Found at the rear underbody.. Was polishing the exhaust tips when I saw it :scare:

  4. So.. having been a member of the forum for the past few years, where I've been borrowing such classics like the Nissan Micra and my father's Audi A4.. I've eventually splashed the cash and got myself a 350z!

Always been a toss up between a CTR and 350z, but I wanted to have my own car sooner rather than later, and picked up a rather tidy 2007 (56) reg coupe!

Does need a touch up here and there, and the alloys need a complete refurb, but I love the drive!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello

And get my postcount up when I need to post in the trade section!
