    Description and History :

Well cared for throughout its life , Only ever taken to Nissan for MOT and Servicing where it was bought brand new in the second half of 2006.

The car has a few factory optional extras such as boot cover , BT ect plus all the factory face lift GT spec goodies such as Cruise control ,LED Rear lights , Steering Wheel Controls , Folding Electric Mirrors , Rays Forged 18" Alloy Wheels ,Auto leveling Xenon's , BOSE 7 Speaker, 6 CD, Sound System with Sub Woofer ,Brembo Brakes front and back and dual mode Heated full leather seats. I also had a stainless Y pipe fitted.

The car is fitted with a NISMO V2 Front bumper paired with Top Secret Japan V2 side skirts and rear spats imported from Japan , Only one in country as far as im aware ( Also unavailable in UK ) the car can also come with the standard bumpers which are brand new items ( kit was fitted within weeks of taking delivery of the car from Nissan ) if preferred.

The condition of the car is excellent as you can see from the photo's, it is barely used having only covered about 3k miles a year for the last few years and less than 100 since the MOT.
Everything works and there are no faults. The only thing I can find worth mentioning is that the alloy wheels are a little marked but nothing drastic.

Always gets positive comments and photos taken , It’s a reluctant sale and am only looking to sell it because I have bought a project car and want to get saving for a house deposit. I came close to selling this a couple years ago and couldn't bring myself to do it in the end but since then the car has just been parked up and it kills me seeing it go to waste. I will be very sad to see the car leave as I know I will not get another one the same so I would like it to go to another enthusiast who will give it the care it deserves.

  2. If you've agreed to sell it, don't play with the buyer. They'll be as excited as any of us would be at getting their hands on a zed.

If the shed seller le's you down, you've got cash in your pocket ready for the next opportunity. Worse case scenario, rent a Toyota Aygo for a few days and weep in there over the lost Zed on the way to view new cars.

Iv already informed him of the situation and he was suitably pi**ed as you would expect , Doubt I could go back to him now even if I manage to sort something else out.

  3. Well I had decided to sell , Made arrangements with the guy ( who was coming today ) and my replacement car for tommorow , However woke up to a message from the guy with the car I was supposed to be buying as a run around saying his sale is on hold so if this goes now Il have no transport , The damn thing needs tax'd and serviced end of this month as well but I haven't really got a choice now until I have another car arranged and with that poor guy who was after mine probably already on his way ( was stopping on his way home from one end of country to other ) I have had to tell him this before he turned off the motorway. I hadn't really eaten or slept much for two days stressing about what to do and now feel awfull for letting the guy down... What a past couple of weeks huh

  4. Has the guy come to view it and a sale been agreed? I'd be tempted to sell if I were you at that point.

Agreed a price from the eBay advert , Think I have made it clear I wont be taking any less and if he came to barter he would be going away empty handed

  5. Lateral thinking time. Buy a shed and run it. Park the zed up. See how often you get the urge to drive the zed. If its all the time keep it. You will also have time to think if you really want it.

Guy who was wanting to buy it ( and to be honest it didn't get that many offers ) is wanting to come for it tommorow , and with the car running out of tax at the end of the month if I where to sell now is a good time I suppose.

  6. Thats the thing , Im not sure if I want to keep it I suppose , On one hand its a costly bugger and is Due Tax and Service next month or so which will land me a large bill but on the other I know I could go and buy something else and it be unreliable and need the same spent on it should it break down.

  7. A house and family come before anything.

    u wot m8

Family comes first, except for Grundy's wheels, they come firsterer.

Is that front or rear wheels though?

    Front always comes before first

Anyway back on topic ! - Worth noting Im not activly looking for a house yet its just in the back of my mind that sometime soon I will have to venture into housing and would only be myself in there for a while or at least until my partner finished her degree.

  8. Guys and Gals ,

My heads a mess , I thought I wanted to sell the Z and have agreed a fair sale however the guy I was buying a runaround from is messing me around so will be car less for a while and the now Im thinking letting the Z go may be a mistake. Its a good car that I know the history of being family owned , has been trouble free and im in no desperate need of the money but at the same time I have a project car and house deposit to think about , it is quite costly to upkeep and doubt I would get a similar offer when I am needing to sell it.

Im just reaching out for your thoughts as I've done everyone else s head in about it as well as mine.

  9. Are you going to alter the price considering you're removing the body kit?

Because to me, you've advertised the price with how the car looks now, but when someone buys it, its going to go back to the older look.

Sorry if that post comes across as ignorant, just asking thats all :)

No problem , glad people are asking questions :) . Tried to make it clear in the ad that the price there is without the kit. Im didnt want to go to go to the expense of having it removed and the standard items re-fitted ( the original as new face lift items ) without a buyer lined up or for the buyer to want the kit as well.

Also leaves the option for the buyer to have the bodykit left on the car should they wish to buy both , Il see what I can do price wise with the bodykit and update the ad , Maybe a better way to do it is list with the price as is then a price without the kit.
