Hi guys,
I currently own a 58 plate FN2 type-r.
Today i test drove a 2007 350z and i absolutely loved it. It was the GT with heated leather seats, i think it was the 300bhp model (not the 313?) - I know it's £460 to tax a year???
Anyhow i absolutely loved it.
It has 29k on the clock which is really good for that age, few dinks and knocks but overall condition is outstanding.
I have a slight bit of negative equity on my finance atm so i'm hoping they can throw me together a deal for the zed!
The main thing i love is that as soon as i drove it, it felt perfect. I was so comfortable straight away, felt comfy to drive it fast... the torque is absolutely outstanding (i owned 2 type-r's) so torque is something i haven't experienced. I came onto a dual carriage way and floored it in second, straight to third and when i looked up was nearly doing 90mph - love it!
I feel like a bit of a kid at the moment, got that butterfly feeling in my stomach you get before christmas!
I know a few of the finance companies already declined me, but the guy at the dealership said it wont be a problem and hopefully they'll find one tomorow (i'm only in around £1000 neg equity).
But anyhow...
Hopefully i'll soon be an active member on here
First thing i want to do is get the scorpion exhaust set! Sounds amazing from what i've heard!
Any tips / advice???

You would go for one with lpg conversion, or wouldnt? Regards

haha i'm having second thoughts now
The car was running really nicely when i test drove it!

It's definately all been done profesionally,
I'm buying the car from an approved Nissan dealer.
Are there any well known companies that deal with 350z specifically?
For example im a former type-r owners... TDI-North / CPL Racing were the most renown ones.

Hi everyone,
I've just put a deposit down on a 2006 Nissan 350z, that has had an LPG conversion.
I test drove the vehicle and the LPG has not affect ther performance at all.
However, i have a concern...
If i wish to modify my car in the future (performance mods)
Will the fact that my car is LPG affect the performance mods and the ability to fit them?
Regards

Hi guys,
I'm looking to swap from my honda civic type-r to a 350z Nismo soon.
I was just wondering the general price and order of modifications to get up to 350bhp? I've not really seen much about superchipping / remaping?
cheers

ha ha cheers guys, you definately seem like a friendly bunch...
in terms of the 350z i definately know what some of you are saying with relation to getting bored quickly with the type-r... and especially with the only fun part about a type-r is hitting VTEC (above 6krpm)... I'm pretty sure ill get a 350z
i'll let you all know when i do

i like your style mate... I was looking at the GT-R myself but im only 21 and even though i'm earning a good wage for my age as an insurance underwriter, its just not viable for me.
Great stuff though

Thankyou mate
I might be officially joining the club soon ha ha

Hello everyone.
I've recently got a promotion at work, and with the extra funds im thinking about chopping in my honda civic type-r for a 350z.
I've really became fond of them recently... I joined the forum a few weeks ago and im really liking what im seeing. I just have a few questions to ask really.
Whats the petrol like? I would be using the car for around a 110 miles a week (commuting; and then another 40/50 miles on the weekend?)
My type-r atm isn't modded, but i just want to know; are there a few mods available for the 350z whilst staying NA, that will increase the performance?
And generally whats all of your opinions on coming over from a type-r? nippy little front wheel drive "boy racers car" to a RWD beefy V6?
Cheers guys
Possibly getting a 2007 350z next week!
