  1. Hi Guys,

Got an 08 plate with GT pack and bizzarly the sat nav doesn't accept postcodes!!?? is this the case or am I being dumb?

Had few issues with it not recognising street names when I know they exist.

Has anyone upgraded their sat nav at all to accept postcodes???

    Thanks

  2. Cheers

I had RE05A's on before as I value decent tyres.

Must be the difference in tread wear between front and back so I'll drop the pressure by 2 psi on the fronts and see if makes a difference (until I change them).

    Thanks all :)

  3. it seems to have happened since I had the rear tyres fitted 2 months ago by a recommeded local garage in Bristol. Had a wheel geometry check also by Nissan main dealer as though it was this and now thats sorted it hasnt changed anything..

Maybe its the dodgy road surfaces in the Uk...drove in France to Le Mans and didnt notice on the long motorway stretches..

  4. Hi there,

I have had a squeak in the boot area which is getting worse (especially on bumpy roads).

On inspection I have realised that it is the silver plastic section of the cross bar (the one with the Z on) which squeaks when you press down on it.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Guess its just a case of removing the plastic and stuffing some foam etc underneath??

    Thanks

  5. Dear forum

I have recently had 2 new Potenza RE05A's fitted to the rear with the same on the front, albeit they are quite worn (need changing in 2-3 months).

Driving on the motorway last couple of times I have noticed the tendancy for the car to tramline quite a bit but also like the back end is twitching/snaking a little from side to side (sometimes doesnt feel that safe to be honest). Maybe I am being over sensitive but this has only started happening since I bought new tyres.

Has anyone else felt this happening? maybe its because the front and back tyres are not worn evenly which effects how they behave?

    Appreciate any assistance

  6. Yellowstuff, no question. Incredible pads for the money.

I need some new pads and was given a choice of mintex or padget (German) by my local Bristol garage (main dealer told me £405 to fit front and rear!!). Guess not as good as Yellowstuf but has anyone got experience with these?

    Thanks

I have used mintex on other cars. They are very good. The padget stuff is rubbish, doesnt last long, loads of brake dust, Go for the mintex  But £405 is a lot. The mintex pads are on ebay for just under £40 for a front set.

Cheers I've been quoted £200ish to supply and fit Mintex which seems pretty good value to me....

  8. Hi Rob - just joined the forum so not sure if this is the correct way to reply to a post...

I have the same issue with my 08 350z - chatted with Wessex Garages this morning and they have never heard of this problem - out of interest did you manage to resolve this??

    Thanks
