hi i need some help ive got a 2004 350z

which has got an k & n air filter and cat back after market exhaust

the other night whilst driving i got a miss fire and every time i tried to accelerate the eml would flash

got the car home slowly next day started car and eml stayed on

car was booked in to have service so asked them to investigated the problem

i was told by the garage that the codes were because of the after market exhaust and air filter

and the eninge would need remapping to support these

i have rung a couple places but have been told that this isnt the problem and do not need a remap

any suggestions
