  1. I looked through an old 350z brochure and found some official optional extras I'd like:

    Logo valve caps 99998-33002

    Air vent covers 99998-80101

    Boot mat KE840-CD081

    Boot tray H4906-CD000

Please let me know if you can get any if these with prices

    Thanks!

  2. That interface only works with US and JDM models as they have the connection at the back of the Headunit, UK models do not have this connection

Thanks for the confirmation. It's a shame there isn't a similar solution for UK owners. Mod it is then.

Pm cookbot, he did mine and it's mint. I'm sure he willmbe able to point you in the write direction.

Thanks for the advice, will do!

  3. This one looks cool, however, a little pricey:

Hang on, I just checked the link and it doesn't bring up the 350z, however, if you type "fairlady" in the search box there are a few. The one I was talking about is made by MODELISSIMO, it's a 1:18. Has stock alloys though, not rays, and I think it's an import judging by the lack of rear lip spoiler and headlight washers. Also, JDM plate. Not sure about cruise control but looks like it doesn't have brembos either.

    :D

Great find! The one listed as "Ebbro road cars Nissan 350 Fairlady Z 2007 bluemetallic Scale 1:43" looks extremely close to my car. Certainly closer than the Orange Maisto one I have which I bought back when I was looking to buy an Orange Zed.

What else is out there? I once saw a Hot Wheels in my local Asda. That one was a nice compact size, but I doubt the scale is spot on.

  4. I have a few wee models, i like to have models of my cars too. Have far too many wee Landrovers dotted about the house. Here's my Datsun collection. The silver although not too accurate dimension wise has the pull back motor in it so it scoots along the floor.

I like the idea of a pull back motor! The choice sure is wider when you are dealing with a fairly recent car. What make are these?

  5. Hi gang,

Call me strange but I like to have a scale model of the cars I own, as close to the actual car as possible.

Do you guys have any? Can you make any recommendations?

I really want one that has the 313 bonnet but I just can't seem to find any. The closest I got was a Tamiya model kit for the Japanese Nismo version which has the bonnet but the bumper and others bits are different

    So, am I alone here?

  6. I recently sold an Ipod connector for the Bose - charges your Ipod and you can choose tracks using your stereo buttons on steering wheel and unit - viewtopic.php?f=32&t=47737

Theres a how-to in the for sale thread.

Does that connector actually work in the UK spec cars? I found out about those when I was looking up iPod solutions before I bought my car but since then I read they don't work in UK Zeds.

I would prefer to use this method since it doesn't permanently alter the stereo operation (whereas the hack cuts out the cassette deck permanently, correct me if I'm wrong).

  7. Hi everyone and I apologise if this has been asked before. I have tried researching this already but couldn't find anything.

I've read in the forum that it is possible to have your Bose stereo modified to connect your iPod or iPhone. I'm really very interested in this but wonder if I can do it myself.

Does anyone know how it is done? Sounds like it involves replacing the functionality of the cassette player.

    Thanks

  8. Hi,

I'm getting my new Zed next week and really want a set of the alloy sill plates, to replace the standard black ones, for when it arrives. Original Nissan manufactured ones please not aftermarket.

I'm also in need of a Nissan original car cover too, coupe version.

    Thanks for looking!
