  1. Good work folks. Took it off soaked it in hot water. Gave it a good poke and a blow. Stuck it back on and hey presto.

You'd be amazed at the amount of gunk that was stuck in there. Now if only I could get the jets pointed in the right direction

Never good when you spurt on yourself

    Oh dear

  2. Don't know really, reckon I should leave it longer?

I only do about 3 or 4k a year so I guess I just do it annually to keep oil nice and clean as my journey's are short on average

  3. I got this from opie as I change oil about every 3k and don't race etc

Always found opie to be good from my years servicing the Supra.

someone's going to tell me this is no good now aren't they :)

  4. thanks all

I am planning on getting the scorpion but not just after I renewed my wedding vows in Las Vegas he he so after a little advice from some Pm's (thanks again) I am going to get a sleeve welded on. The exhaust is in very good condition apart from that part so it should be good until summer at least.

completely agree that the scorpion sounds brilliant and like I say probably the best price versus quality :)

  5. Thanks Mike I will give them a shout

I was looking for a possible second hand replacement that someone had taken off to upgrade. After reading through the forum I found a post where you said that the joins can go after about 4 years anyway.

So this being said I am now in two minds as it may be more sensible to put that £100 towards something else (the scorpion cat back for example) which will last possibly longer than me :)

  6. they are lovely, think i favour them over the Rays. I would imagine the are like rocking horse poo to get hold of though as they are limited edition

    thanks for the info :)

  7. Dont have to worry about blue smoke pal that's turbo oil seals and there's no turbo on the 350z.

The buyers guide is excellent but to be honest unless the engine is knackered there's not a lot that cant be fixed for under 1k, I'm a noob but that's my take on the research I did so dont take that as gospel

just watch for dodgy engine noises and a crappy gear change as the gear box could be naff

I always thought the Supra (this coming from another previous Supra owner) was pretty bullet proof but with all the things about turbo's going and replacement bottom ends going around it made made me realise that they were getting on :)

One thing I did have was a bit of a vibrating (kind of) noise at idle in neutral or with clutch down after research apparantly a 'chattery' clutch and pretty normal he he

have a good read of the buyers guide it helped me choose mine :)
