Thanks guys I am glad the hard work paid off.
well I could of brought a stock 350 in poor condition for what its cost me, but then I would of spent money on it anyway to bring it up to spec.
I am happy with the finished car and I know this car is well repaired and not full of filler
Thanks for the hard to find parts your a star.

welcome and congrats

Nissan Gt4 limited edition wheels and yes they are nice
-
I am after some plastic gromets and minor plastic stuff and have been looking online and have only found US based websites like courtestyparts who want $60 shipping on everything or UK breakers yard sites who are only interested in big stuff.
Two of the plastic clips are called bumper stiffeners (RH and LH) that are gromets for the two big holes on the front bumper or shall I go to nissan and order them?
I know can get them but just thought there might be a good parts website for minor stuff.

Nice choice
Rays + bonnet bulge

Thanks Beau
You have been through the pain! I take my hat of to you..
It may look like i have gone overboard with the primer but every panel had damage even the good ones, damage is damage and so full respray is needed.

I have been working on this for about 8 weeks now. I brought this from a salvage yard for two reasons.
1) I love a car project and this restoration had my name all over it
2) it was cheap! and to buy a good Nismo 350z we are talking some serious $$$!
I am about 2-3 weeks away from paint and just have the rear quarters to beat and then its ready for quality control before paint.
I have sourced all my parts from ZmanAlex who has been fantastic, is there anything this man cannot get!
More pics to follow
Oh and its on bricks! as I am sealing the underside of the car.

Contratulations on your restoration it looks , I am also doing the same restoration on a chili red 350 with with a Nismo V2 kit and Im about 3 weeks away from paint.
Drop me a PM im also in MK
-
good job and they look
-
The V2 suits the car and in black is awsome.
Side skirts next?
-
Im for rounding the corners of the bottom spliter, not sure about loosing the H as this will then just turn into another custom front bumper and loose its Nismo styling, What you planning on selling these for as I have seen good copies for £250?
Good luck

Count me in, once I get my Chlli 350 project on the road (kind of in peices at the moment)
Here is a Pic of my skyline blue R33 at JAE voted 2nd best Skyline at show

I found a few guides but this is by far the best guide with really indepth step by step instructions on how to get to the window mechanism.

I have been taking plenty of pictures and I shall post these once I start pull her back together.
This car had a nismo kit installed but all the kit is damaged so I am going for a Nismo N2 kit with a painted custom bonnet in chilli red.
Thank guys will see you all at some local meets once its finished
-
Im a noob Z owner but have wealth of knowledge in tweaking these Nissan beasts.
Just brought a wreck and am now puting it together and yes i have :pmr35lee: already and hes a top bloke!
Hope to see you all at a meet once its finished.
