my car will soon be due for a P1 service, it will be at roughly 66'000 miles and is about 7 1/2 years old. i went to my local nissan (marshalls of cambridge) to see how much it would cost me to keep the nissan history going and after the girl punched my reg and what not into her computer she smilled and said £305!! i dont think iv heard of a p1 costing anything like that before! The Question is is that about right or is it a rip off? the other thing is i have heard some bad reveiws about them just wondered if any of you fine Z drives have used them? thanks

Im 22, 4 years no claims insured for 11000miles fully comp with a couple of add ons on the policy, on my Z and mine is under £1k and since reading this i thought id go do a quote for a GTR, just to compaire, for exactly the same stuff and thats comming out at £1650 fully comp.

I'm not going to fit it myself mainly for the reasons you'v said but thanks for the help guys I will have a look in the guides section? What else do you have on as well as the v1 chaps?

i am currently considering fitting a nismo V1 rear spoiler to my car, however it currently has the little rear lip on it i just wondered if anybody has actually gone through the process of taking the lip off and fitting the above and would no if you can utilise the same holes? i have seen other discussions about it and have tried to do some reasearch with some saying yes and some saying know just wondered if anybody can provide a more definative answer to help? the below should show what im getting at Cheers Guys

Thanks mate, Yeah the bloke who had it before me took them off and sold them! apparently he preffered the origionals! Thanks for the exhaust suggestion as well, something else to look into! i managed to pick up a spare rear strut cover pretty cheap so though i might see what i can do with it, as mine does have a couple of scuffs on it.

I'm kinda the same I set myself targets like I say the z was within 3 years of starting work! Would like to say a GTR by the time I'm 26 but that may be a bit ambitious, and might have to think of actually buying a house at some point! Haha

Open yourself a Photobucket a/c (free) and copy and past the IMG code. If you want to make the pics smaller before you upload to PB (save band width) look for a 'PictureResizer' prog, if using Microsoft it's a Power Toy. I tried creating a photobuucket a/c but apparently my email adress has already been used for an account but iv never had one , so i'll prob just try my other email addy later! thanks

Well im 22 so it must have been about four or five years ago i really started to like them i went with my parents when they were looking for a car and wondered off to go and have a look at one, saw them in the ads and in tokyo drift and stuff, and instantly liked them. So when i started work i set myself a target of buying one withing three years. I took alot of stick for it at work because it wasnt a BMW AUDi or Merc. and then when i eventually got mine it was better than i expected! Still take a bit of stick here and there at work but nothing sorts it out like the sounds of the Z and the smile it puts on my face!

hi everybody i only joined the forum on sunday and so far im loving it! and after a conversation i had with my work collegues about how people come to own certain cars etc and that fact that im keen to find out about everybody and there Z's i just wondered whats the story to your Z? how did you come by it? and why a 350Z? hope everybody is well Cheers

just out of curiosity does anybody have one on their Z? might be being a numpty but does it effect the car much? rear view drive noise etc?

oh im not looking to buy it from nissan just wanted to get a part number and discription from them but they couldnt confirm it so..... i'll try anyone i can find on here but just wondered if anybody could point me in a specific direction to get a good quality part and to save some time and hassle thanks again happy Z-ing in the nice weather

im new to the forum and was just after some advice, ever since i first sane the Z i loved it, the first one i ever saw had a nismo rear spoiler on it i think it was the V1 or N1, i have been doing some light research seeing if i can get the nissan part how much for etc to way up the costs and what not. i have found alot of imitation ones but very very few proper nissan ones i went to a nissan dealer and a parts depaartment and i was given a code and a price but they couldnt confirm if its what im after as they keept no imagaes! just wondered if any of you guys would know a good reliable places to look? cheers all

Ah cheers mate. being new to this where will i find husky? just bought a spare bar cover on eBay very cheaply so can have a bit of a play with it!

the door kick guard looks awesome, i did look into buying something new but like you say there all from the states. my sis bf buys a lot from the states for his supra so might ask him if he's come across anything. thanks again for the ideas lads
