  1. Hi all,

Is there anything specific to the car I should look out for? From what I have read the GT spec comes with the BOSE speaker system as standard, with the SAT NAV and bluetooth integration as optional extras? Think all GT's come with the phone kit but you'll need the bluetooth adapter (thinking from an insurance point of view here). Are the 18" Rays standard with the GT or also optional extra?Yes optional so not on all GT's

Talking more specifically about the two I'm looking at. The first is privately owned but has some modifications, there is an aftermarket sat nav (Navman) wired in to where the Nissan one is normally fitted, the front bumper grill is chrome but the guy has said he can swap it with the standard one, and the front bumper lights are clear instead of orange. If I was to keep it as it is are these things that would increase my insurance?Should inform your insurers of modifications some increase your premium some just say they won't cover the mods b If so, if the sat nav was removed would wiring one in and then removing it later cause a problem with the electrics?

The second one I'm looking at has tan leather seats. I don't mind them but will this make it more difficult to sell on after and mean I have to lower the price? Personal choice I like whereas others might not The dealer selling it is also offering RAC inspection and RAC Platinum warranty package. Is the platinum warranty worth having? (I've heard it doesn't cover much?)Your right I think they pretty much class 99% of things as wear and tear

I would really appreciate any help, even if it is something glaringly obvious as I'm only buying my second car!

  2. Sorry not really car related.

  3. Is it worth paying around £17 extra to get a brand new one with a warranty? I'm assuming the £65 is for a used one?

    How reliable are these modules?

No, buy one off the guys from here, I got mine from Pimm and it works a treat.

  4. Go for a 125 scooter :scare: I know I know.......but 120 mpg and can pick em up for less than 1k. Nip through any traffic and still good for 60mph.

After getting rid of my 'proper' bike last year I'll definitely be getting some form a two wheels for the weekly commute.

    Save a fortune

  5. Evening all,

For sale is my pioneer AVIC-F320BT head unit, its only four days old.

I'm struggling to get enough sound from it and due to my total lack of ICE knowledge I was going to take it to an audio centre today but because of my incessant moping and moaning my girlfriend has gone and bought me a F920BT instead from a local audio fitter and to reduce my stress level arranged for it to be fitted. Was going to take this one to a specialist but seeing as shes bought it would be rude not to accept :teeth:

So this unit is now up for sale, for the full spec please visit: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/11 ... index.html

It comes with all the leads you'd expect new, GPS antenna, microphone, ipod cable etc……

I've put it up for sale on fleaBay for £375 but offering it you guys for £330. Will deliver in the South Wales area, collection is welcome other than that add £10 for P&P.

Any questions feel free to ask.

    Cheers

  6. Evening all,

Tried to fit my new pioneer F320BT this evening but have come across a problem.

In Short: No sound, the headunit has only got 1 pre-out? (Would this be the problem?)

In Long  : The ICT 20-260 adapter that I bought fom sextons has the Red White Yellow and Black RCA leads but I'm only able to use the Red and the White (1 pre-out) and the yellow and black ones have no-where to go. Is there any way around this? Anyway of getting sound with what I've got or do i need a headunit with 2 pre-outs?

    Cheers

    Ryan
