  1. It's pretty easy matey, took me about day 2 days to do. My 2 front wipes were corroded and the paint bubbling up slightly when I bought the car. Took them off, took out the washer piping then sanded the wipers back down to the metal. Then I sprayed both with 2 coats of grey primer then once dried 2 coats of Matt black. Look brand new now and still going great. It's pretty easy to fix back the washer piping and wipers in the end.

  3. Cheers guys for the info,

I bought the car from a sports car dealership, not Nissan and they have sent the radio off to Clarion. If the radio is divorced, how easy is it to get it married again to the car, whats needed and how much does it usually cost?

I have a funny feeling when they do reinstall it, this divorce problem could possibly raise its head.

  4. Hey all,

I have a query about my car radio.

I bought my 350z GT 55 reg a few months ago and realised the multi disc CD player wasnt working. The dealership have taken it out and sent it off to be repaired. When they reinstall it for me, will the radio require a pin code to input?, as ive read conflicting forums saying yes/no, also supposedly ive read the radio is paired for your specific car, is that true

If anyone can shed any light that would be great, as I havent found a radio code at all in my paperwork.

  5. Hey all,

Just trying to find out where should I be looking for the paint code, on my 55 reg 350z GT. Should the code be on a long digit sticker or on its own.

Im thinking its blade silver, but dont want to risk getting the wrong one for the odd chip.

    :D

  6. Hi everyone,

I have just purchased a 350z GT (55 plate) for the first time and all I can say is this car is AWESOME! Only took me over a year to find the one I wanted lol.

Looking forward to talking about all things 350z

I have just one question about the front windscreen wiper arms, regarding some minor corrosion which with my OCD will have to get sorted asap lol. Any suggestions on where to get quality replacements.

  7. Hey all,

Here is an update to my insurance enquiries, and some responses that suprised me.

I was requesting fully comp insurance, my details ( Licence since 1998, 6 yrs nc, drive company vehicle aswell, no points/penalties, live in decent area.)

Sky insurance - " we are not insuring cars in Lancashire due to high number of claims recently"

Chris Knott insurance - "cannot insure you until your 30 (I am in 2 months lol) and have owned the car for one year, come back next year for a decent offer".

Moneysupermarket checked out usual well known places and gave results varying from £1200 and greater.

My current insurer Direct Line gave the best offer of £1173.

Can anyone else think of any other insurance companies?

  9. Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking into buying my first 350z 2005 or older. I'm new to the forum and would be greatful if any of you can suggest some ideal insurance companies to contact.

Im 29 nearly 30 with 6 years no claims.

    Thanks
