My driver side window has fully up at the moment, totally not going down. when i close the door, the top of window will hit the edge badly. Garage man reset computer and it only last half day, the quote price to replace motor which cost 299pounds(parts) + 120pounds(labour) plus VAT. its really expensive !!!!!!

i have read window topics before, its an common problem. And people sorted it out by window reset.

Just want to know how many people done this before? and how long it could last, e.g. half year?

Any good garage or good way can sort it cheaper? Am based Manchester and always travel to Chester.

The motor is £150 including vat with 12 months guarantee. Plus theres a place in Derby called mobile solutions that quoted around £70 for fitting.

 

Worth dropping them an email and you could collect the motor off me and take it there if its worth making the journey for you

Just wondering improve my driving skills. Someone have post topic about driving experience with Company calledRide Drive Limited. I have called them, 133pounds for 4hrs, 3hrs on driving, cost £133. Use my own car and insurance on public road.

I have searched online as well, http://www.msvdrivinggifts.com/experience/m3-master.aspx, £180 for 2hrs by using M3 (E92) on Oulton Park, Cheshire , but only 30mins on driving. Anyone try this before? I want to improve my skills, not just try this superb car.

Anybody recommended any company or in instructor, am base Manchester.

did an oil change on mine a month ago, bought 4L + 1L bttls of oil only used the big bttl and its showing the middle mark on the dip stick, i know it says 4.7L sump but mine used less cant figure it out why? Did you see what size filter they used? i have a jdm and i believe its smaller.

I used my own one. It's K&N golden oil filter

Normally a 5l can should be fine for a service, with left overs to boot.

Leave zed on a level surface overnight, check in morning and if on min level or lower deffo add at least 500ml extra and check again.

Never needed more than 5l for a service in my past 5yrs of ownership

I think my oil has been stolen. I have got back my empty oil bottle.

Maybe you have a big sump or a sump spacer fitted.

Otherwise 5 lt should take it to max. mark.

so easy to change it, although i paid garage man to do this. Just open air box, remove the old one, put it on then close it. thats all

does it damage engine if it a bit lower than Min or just reach Min leavel? or I need stop drving immediately?

I bought Millers CF3 5W30 5L for oil change (with K&N Golden Oil Filter)

But it only reach the Min, garage man told me I need 1.5L to 2L more to get to Max. Coz sport car gets oil cooler bla bla?
