Apolgoies for the no show guys, what with the weather and all (300zx's are not good in the wet filter/electrical issues!) Han wasnt feeling like being sociable either so we went to the supermarket instead... then she went home. Great!

Looks like a reasonable turn out despite the weather!

You can look at them really closely when you hold the book close to your face... LOL Thats how I do it... Although there is a local one to me, I saw its tail lights today where the guy lives. Although it normally doesnt live at his house I believe. Had it years he tells me!

This is only about 15 miles or less from my house so should be up for this no bother as long as im not in canada. I have never actualy eaten there but I have heard good things - another alternative is Whoop hall which is about 5 miles down the road. That is good food and plenty of parking etc. I know the area well as I went to school in Kirkby.

Nice to see people/meet people this afternoon! If it was a little damp, we decided to skip the show due to the weather and went the A roads way back to hide from the worst of the spray!

I must say though Martin, better pub next time the food was not brilliant! I'm sure there must be nicer places in that part of the world LOL

That would be burton services above 35 and below 36... Forton (Or lancaster as it is now) is between 32 and 33. Although burton services is NOT truck stop which is down the A601m @ j35.

I'll be there, its an excuse to go for lunch at a random pub even if no one else goes!

Yeah its not been so good with us I will be honest, although brightened up around 5 ish and turned into a bonny but chilly evening! I'm used to just a handfull of cars showing up to meets! LOL

Gah! Busy time of year, im tied up on the 5th sadly, I would have come as its only an hour to brough for me if not a little less. Doing something for my lasses bday, day after is open gardens as well so busy with that!

Lol, might be not sure as yet! Its all going to be a tie in with work if I do, and I'll be in my astravan (oh yeah, nothing but the best) and it'll be the friday afternoon if I do.

Cheers for the welcome guys! The old 300zx certainly does turn alot of heads, my particular model is really the spirtual predecessor to the 350z (as verses the other models in the range) as its a 2 seater and a hardtop, instead of a targa and or a 2+2.

I like to think of the 350z as being a reliable car is this so? ALso what sort of fuel economy are we talking? I've seen figures of low to mid 20's, will they actually do that or is that a claimed figure? I intend to look at buying a house in the fairly near future and I have to say as fun as the 300zx is its hard to trust that is isnt going to suddenly demand £2k spending on it. Would the 350z be more something I can say, the money is spent on the car and it wont require more?

Cheers guys! Really a big fan of Azure blue 350z's with I think the GT Pack, is that the brembo upgrade? Just a bit out of my budget if im honest at the moment!
