Everything would be in English. It is literally a case of unplugging the DVD/CD from behind the drivers seat and plugging in the new one...
have a look at this thread
-
I had a similar issue, all you need is a DVD/CD unit from a UK Primera/Navara and this would be a direct replacement for the JAP one. Mine cost £30 from EBAY.

Are the seats still available?
-
I would be interested in these if you still have them...
-
I installed it on the passengers side...
-
I have the same thing, but not found a solution yet

Right - sorry for the delays, I was out of the country...Just fitted the camera yesterday and it fits well. I got it from here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ETO-Car-Rear- ... 572wt_1139.
No pics yet but will post some when the rain stops.....
Cheers

Sorry all - still have not had a chance to fit it but it does look the right size.

I have just bought one from China and have to pick it up on Saturday, so I will let you know
-
thanks but mine a JDM with no towing port.
Ahh right. You can buy on that takes the place of one of you number plate lights too. It's a proper bit of Nissan kit. Got one on my qashqai. Very smart and stealth.
would that fit on the Z? I have been looking at getting one of those.

I have an 05 JDM, I simply removed the cubby and the screen etc. I then fitted a 7 inch touchscreen
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 5291wt_915
(removed from its casing) using double sided adhesive foam, this has held fine.
I have then routed any cables through the centre console to the rear cubby for an eventual dvd/freeview upgrade , the monitor has been linked to the AUX in on an Alpine CDE - 203RI. I have also installed IGO 8 via the SD card input and the audio outputs through the car speakers
Works great
Can I ask what you have done with the power for the monitor?
Thanks

Its pretty simple,
-Remove the ring surrounding the gear stick
-pull up on the console bit
-undo the screws holding in the aircon controller
-unclip the ribbon cables
-unscrew the screws holding the centre console in (remember to removed the screws under the satnav buttons, if you have the satnav)
-
I checked with them once recently and it was about £600!
-
Not sure about the seat difference - i never sit in the passenger seat
-
I am also looking for a pair of radiator fans for a '03 JDM, do you know if they are the same as the UK ones?
Thanks

Hi All,
I am looking to remove the JDM sat nav screen and replace it with the cubby, does anyone no where and how much I can get one for?
Thanks in advance,

I got my 53 plate, Silver JDM with just over 14 000 miles for £8300

Right all, I figured this out. I removed the JDM japanese sat nav/dvd box and hey presto full FM signal!
Hope this helps,
-
Yip - all connected as required. I have rechecked all the connections too!
-
I too have this problem, very bad FM signal and I have the standard aerial.

Hi All,
I have just purchased a JDM Z and replaced the standard headunit with a Pioneer AVH-3200BT which is all working well, but I can't get the steering wheel controls
to work. I bought ICT 29 - 645 and 29 - 007 as mentioned in this post http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403. I then saw that the
29 - 020 cable was recommended for all Pioneer head units and purchased that too. None of them are working!
Help please.
Thanks
-
Nope - mines in Japanese

Thanks all for the welcome! I will get some pics up when I can.
Problem with radio install low reception

Is it a JDM? I had a similar issue when replacing the headunit...if the Jap sat nav is still connected it seems to interfere with the aerial reception. I just unplugged the DVD unit behind the seat.
