  1. Blimey, he certainly made himself welcome over there. In one post he managed to call the Boxa.net community a group of rednecks a group of entry-level owners and no better than Escort driving yobs.

I owned a 986 2.7 several years ago and used to frequent Boxa.net. I found the long standing members to be a really decent bunch of folks and even though I only managed to attend one Boxa.net run I have fond memories of the people I met.

I do wonder which marque token will turn to now after ruling out a 350z and seemingly alienating himself from the Porsche community.

  3. Thanks for the welcome guys. :)

I'm a SW PistonHeads run regular so I'll be stretching the legs of the Zed around the Brecon Beacons whenever weather allows.

For now though I'm just happy familiarising myself with the car. It's quite different to the VX although it does seem to have some of the muscle car character of the TVR.

  4. Evening all,

I thought it was about time I made myself known so...

I'm Meirion, I'm from South Wales and this has just moved into the garage:

It's 56 plate 350Z GT with 15K on the clock.

I sold a VX220T in order to buy the Zed and I've been really impressed so far. As much fun as the plastic tub was, I've started to get a bit old now and look forward to my creature comforts such as a heater that works and window seals that can keep water out.

Having previously owned a TVR Chimaera I wanted to return to something naturally aspirated that made a nice noise and could be entertaining to drive but without needing constant tinkering on the weekends.

So last weekend I was mostly tinkering under the bonnet fitting a Pop Charger!

Anyway nice to meet you all.

Editted to add: I rarely see any 350Zs out on the roads however I spotted Ian this morning on the A40. I heard you before I saw you.
